Product is great. Royal Mail Delivery service appalling
Stormdry is a revelation albeit expensive. Royal Mail delivery should be avoided- a 12 hour timeslot for delivery is totally unacceptable for Amazon Prime and necessitated me keeping and paying for workmen as expecting delivery from 07.00am as advised by Royal Mail.Further update - my house is 323 years old and has solid brick walls. Although well made and solid bricks, over time they have become porous with small damp patches showing indoors after recent strong storms with driving rain. Since treating with Stormdry and repairing the pointing with Stormdry Mortar, the damp patches have disappeared and the rain visibly runs off them. What is particularly pleasing is that the house, since application, is noticeably warmer. I looked this up on their website and YouTube and it would appear that damp walls conduct heat more than dry ones. I am extremely pleased with this product and highly recommend it.

Seems to do the job very well
We had water coming into a downstairs room via the ventilation vents in the very wet and windy conditions we had over the winter. We initially thought it was the double glazing failing, but our normal firm said they were fine, despite the windows being over 25 years old. They suggested that it could be that our brickwork was porous and the rain so excessive (we face Southwest) that the normal weep vents in the brick couldn't cope and became overwhelmed. After some research I went for Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream, despite the cost, as it had good reviews. I found it easy to apply to the affected wall, in one morning (I am 67 but OK up ladders) and it dried invisibly. We have since had more heavy rain and SW winds but no more water ingress, so I am cautiously optimistic that it has worked. The inside wall has dried out and Stormdry's claim that it lets the brickwork breathe seems to be valid. After rain you can see the rainwater beading up on the brickwork and overall I am very pleased with it. Coverage is good too and I still have some left, just in case! I can easily recommend Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream, if you think you may have porous brickwork.

Very effective...
Very impressed so far. Only time will tell long-term.Had a new gable end wall built for my loft conversion. Brand new expensive bricks to match the originals on my 80 year-old house. Then 6 months later we have the wettest winter for 200 years with winds from the south constantly soaking the wall. With no time for the bricks to dry out between the rainy days, they eventually absorbed the water all the way through and with no cavity wall for the water to drain into, the rain appeared on the inside of my house and dripped from the lintel above the window. The new bricks look nice but are clearly not a match for the 80 year-old originals when it comes to waterproofing. (How can brick companies sell bricks that are this absorbent?)Anyway, having done plenty of investigation on-line, I opted for Stormdry as the solution to the problem. I hoped the old maxim that you "get what you pay for" was true in this case as it is not the cheapest product around but we wanted an effective and long-lasting solution as I don't want to be having to put scaffolding up every few years to reapply a waterproofer. It went on very easily. We did it by brush to get into the nooks and crannies. You can certainly see where you have been and true to the instruction leaflet, the Stormdry was absorbed into the wall and the bricks returned to their original appearance after a day or so.About three weeks after applying, we hadn't had much rain so we soaked the wall by hose before the scaffolding came down, just to see how the wall would react. The water beaded and ran off the surface of the bricks. A couple of hours later the wall was dry to the touch which certainly would not have been the case before. It looks very impressive and l am hopeful that this will solve the problem long-term. Hosing the wall for half an hour is not exactly the same as the constant drenching the wall got during December 2013 but it gave us an idea of the effectiveness.Based on the quoted figures for coverage of the product, I bought too much rather than too little. Our bricks were so absorbent that they took twice as much as the stated amount (and I am convinced they would have taken even more if we had had more to apply). So I am hoping that the depth of effective waterproofing in my bricks is therefore also twice as much as it would have been.I recommend this product.

Easy to use
The product is rated at good for 25years and that’s why I’ve given 4 stars because it hasn’t been tested yet. However it is easy to put on and obviously very water resistant as it leaves no residue in the bucket. I needed more and had to buy two more tubs. So only dislike is it is really expensive. However if it proves to work over a lengthy period of time and keep damp out it will be worth it.

Protection for my garage
Purchased this to stop water ingress into my garage from the brickwork - easy to apply but you have to work this into the brickwork. So far, this has vastly improved and prevented rainwater access into my garage from the bricks. I do hope this does offer the protection of 25 years. Rather expensive purchase but so far, no complaints.

Ease of application good results
This water resistant product comes in a format similar to watered down yoghurt . This makes it very easy to apply with minimal or no spillage . If you want a great result I would suggest that you slap it on thickly do not try to spread it too thin if you want best results . The bricks will initially become somewhat darker but this only lasts for about 24 hoursSo far I have had great results on my brick wall . However I will have to wait for the rain from the north striking the wall to determine the overall effectiveness

Superb!
Bought this atormdy to protect a newly erected wall. This is a fantastic product that helps waterproof the outside against the elements.Easy to apply, simply apply like it’s paint and only one coat needed. There is a generous amount allowing you to cover a large area - our space is bout 6m x 6m.One done, you can render or paint over it.I bought this for £100 which is a great price too.Update: once I opened the box I found that the tub was leaking. I suspect that it was tilted however, I would expect it to have been securely tightened. Nevertheless, i still used it
