Installation wasn't too bad and was very clear and my wife couldn't tell I put it up until I told her. Does it save energy? I don't know, but it does cut the draft from my windows pretty good.

Kit is super easy to work with and made an immediate difference in reducing the airflow coming into the house around the windows.

I’ll have to be honest and say that I didn’t use this as a single large barrier. I have 15 6 ft windows in my sunroom that I used this to cover. What I didn’t have was anywhere near the tape I needed. Extra tape is expensive!

I have used this product before. It works very well and is very clear after stretching it out with a hair dryer. It undoubtedly acts as a good insulator - keeping heat in in the winter and cool in in the summer. It also acts to keep dust and dirt out if work is being done on the exterior of your home.

The only thing I dislike is that it is very hard to separate the two layers of the tape.

The plastic is easy to cut to fit and easy to apply. The double sided adhesive works beautifully. I did run out of the double sided adhesive and had to order another roll which was half as expensive as the whole kit itself. Other than that it is an effective product. I have used it in the past also and this time it seemed easier to handle and apply

The double sided tape’s protective film was we fused to the second side and would not come off. We tried for 20 minutes to pull up a corner of the tape. When we eventually got a little bit of the film up off of the tape to start pulling it off the film pulled in half leaving the paper film shredded on the tape. We tried cutting through the film at various spots and pulling the film off but ended up with the same result. The film was fused to the tape and wasn’t coming off cleanly. The package said it was made in 2015. The plastic for the window was perfectly fine but

Once I was able to apply the film to the window it did a wonderful job of preventing drafts. The film is amazingly strong, and it really does shrink when exposed to heat from a blow dryer. However, 1) there is not enough tape included in the package, so I had to buy a separate roll. 2) The tape that was in the package would not separate from the backing. I did not return the product to Amazon because of the chances of it being replaced with the same. I went directly to Scotch and after sending them the necessary information, they replaced the two rolls I was having problems with. 3) I have not tried to remove the tape so the ease of that is yet to be seen.
