Definitely not. Probiotics are beneficial bacteria for your large intestines. Both men and women have large intestines so men can benefit from probiotics just like men.

We do not ship via Amazon. We fulfill our own from the factory 3 miles away. It is fresh from their freezers in the morning the day we ship it to you.

For as long as you would like. Or at least up until the expiration date. It is a common misconception that probiotics require refrigeration. They're only specific strains that require it, and this is not one. Virtually every probiotic out there is shelfstable. According to the official NOW Foods website: "Even under ideal storage conditions, the number of colony forming units will slowly decline as months go on. For example, a typical number is a drop of 5% per month when packed in glass and non-refrigerated. Refrigeration will prolong the potency and viability of most probiotics to maintain higher counts over a longer period of time."http://www.nowfoods.com/Quality/Quality-Notes/088797.htmIn other words, it is not strictly necessary for the item to be refrigerated, as even under non-refrigerated conditions, the level of potency decline is minimal (5% over an entire month).
