I don’t feel that it’s really grippy. I feel that silicone is grippy. I feel like this is smooth, but that is just my opinion.

In my opinion the case is definitely cool looking and adds style to your phone. However it doesn't perform as advertised. Phone got warm as normal and didn't seem to add much protection. Hope this helps
