Written by a veteran within animation, it is a fun, easy-to-understand book with great images and a useful CD to use alongside practicing the steps. Absolutely recommend to anyone serious in the animation business or who wants to try it out as a hobby.

Superb book. Doesn't overwhelm you with a super detailed and academic look at timing and all that stuff. Just gets straight to the point, all the skills you need to know with lovely examples of them. And the whole time inspires and encourages. Definitely my preferred animation book of the few excellent ones out there.

really liked the illistrations, lots of veriety of stuff to do thats brocken down well. im glad i got this for sure, the dvd is great to use too, though it only has a third of the examples int he book, theyre easily applied to your own work later. much more interesting than just cycles.reccomend timing for animation too

This handy book teaches you all the secrets and techniques of smooth animation and drawing from famous Disney animator Eric Goldberg. Complete with guides, pictures and great examples, this book is the best for all starting animators.

Might not be all you need to get you animating but gives you a great start. Nicely written

El libro es increíble, un autor con mucha experiencia,en cada tema te menciona referencias a cortos y escenas de animación para que quede mas claro, creo que es un libro que todo animador debería tener, tanto si vas iniciando como si ya tienes conocimiento ya que no solo te explica los temas sino que te brinda su experiencia con distintos consejos y ejemplos. Llegó suelto dentro de una caja, esto pudo ocasionar que llegara maltratado, por fortuna llego en buen estado.

Un manuale fondamentale per imparare ad animare, non noioso e accademico come tanti altri.L'autore è uno dei più grandi animatori al mondo, ha animato, fra gli altri, il Genio (a cui ha prestato la voce Robin Williams) in Aladdin della Disney ed è un grande conoscitore della tecnica dell'animazione classica, da Disney a Warner passando per MGM...Forse l'approccio sarebbe potuto essere più sistematico, l'impressione è che sia un manuale per chi un po' di animazione già la mastica. Infatti è una rielaborazione di alcuni appunti che scrisse lo stesso Eric Goldberg agli inizi della sua carriera.Utilissimi i video di riferimento, rintracciabili ad un sito apposito, per la migliore comprensione di alcune regole.
