My toddler absolutely loves it. Tracing over the alphabet and learning to count. It is definitely worth the money. I hope this will help my toddler practice writing. The quality of the wood is thick is super durable. Absolutely the perfect gift for any toddler.

Our child has started having an interest in writing, so we got these as a way for them to practice holding the pencil correctly and to get the feel of the letter and number shapes. The letters and numbers have big enough indents that a young child can trace them with their finger, which seems to be the starting place before a child picks up the stylus. We love that these are double sided. The shape/line side is great for helping kids feel the flow of writing. I wish the boards had the lines directing which way to move the stylus printed inside each letter, but they do provide a piece of paper that shows that. My toddler doesn't have any desire to look at the paper though.These appear that they will hold up well. Our kids have occasionally carried them around by the stylus which is attached by a string to the boards, and the strings are holding firm.

These are AMAZING! Well made and durable and super cute. My daughter used her pom-poms on the number one and they fit perfectly. Work the $$$

Everything was beautifully packaged and looked great until I opened the small box with the pencil and beads. Two of the red beads were completely broken. I can only assume during transport they were hitting against each other and that caused the breakage. I immediately started a replacement process. I am sending this one back and currently waiting to receive a new one. It is a beautiful product though and looks to be great quality aside from the broken beads. I didn’t expect it to be double sided, but that might’ve been a misunderstanding of what I read on my part. The contrast between the red and blue pegs is beautiful and it will aid my daughter to visually separate each number when counting. The wooden board seems properly sealed, which will make cleaning it a breeze. I do love that it comes with a bag for the pegs, which is helpful for storing but also will make it easier when traveling as my daughter can still use it in our vehicle. I think this product will last years if properly cared for. I will update this review to five stars once I receive the new one if it is not broken.

My daughter asked for these for my grandson’s third birthday. Most people did not know what they were so they did not purchase. She said it was probably her favorite thing on the list of wants for him. So as a grandma, I Purchased them after the fact. I will say upfront that my daughter is a professional speech and language pathologist. My grandson has glasses, and so he was very uninterested in painting, coloring, or writing. As he approached the preschool age, she was starting to get concerned that he was not interested in holding anything in his hand. He wears glasses, so she wondered if it was hard for his eyes to adjust when writing. After I bought these stencils, he was very interested, and started using them right away. My daughter was over the moon at how my grandson’s favorite thing to do was to practice his writing with these. They are very durable, which is a great perk since he is a little boy. Not only was this a hit with my grandson, but my daughter will be able to use these when working with kids as part of her profession.

High quality boards. Love that the string is attached to both pencils. My daughter (she just turned 4) loves to use this in the car. Nice to have two boards - one for Abcs and one for numbers , counting, and tracing patterns. The edges and finish are smooth, no possible way to get splinters.I like that this is educational, easy to use when in the car or on a plane or at a restaurant. Don't need to use screen time or bring along dry erase markers etc for the wipe clean books. My daughter usually just scribbles on the pages of those with the marker.This product is actually getting her to practice her letters and handwriting /fine motor skills.The packing was really nice - it came in a box of its own with instructions and a card that entitles you to a 90 day warrantee.I don't think I'll be needing that because we are so pleased with this product.I think $30 is a fair price point for this item.When my kids are finished with these I'll probably be able to pass them on to another family. I can tell these will last a long time.I did not receive anything for writing this review.

Great product to help kids develop muscle memory for letter formation.
