A good buy - but beware of known issues!
We now have a total of four of these laptops, all with identical specs. They are reliable, tough, and do exactly what we need them to as mid-range gaming laptops. They manage to hold up to the daily rigors of gaming, children, and everything else they go through. That being said, of the four we own, two have developed issues. One has a problem with the battery/charging, and must be completely power drained (left unplugged for at least a day without being used, then plugged in and allowed to charge again) before it will function properly. Another has suddenly gotten lines across the screen; they don't completely keep the computer from being used, but they're irritating and not useful when you're trying to play an immersive game or work on any graphical stuff.Overall, they're great computers, but apparently both of the issues we've seen are known problems and either aren't easily fixable by the consumer or are defects that require return/servicing by a Lenovo technician.Do I still recommend them? Sure. Problems happen. It's one of those things. But for nearly $1000, these should be far more reliable.

Great to game with
Bought this to replace my old A12. I can play World of Tanks on ultra high settings at 98 FPS. Everything about this laptop is great.I have no complaints at all. I highly recommend this as an affordable gaming laptop.

Sweet
I'm coming from an msi with a gtx 950m (which stopped working on me after 6 years) this computer so far is incredible came flawless, it's durable feeling and snappy when using it, I couldn't be happier, now I can get back to devinedit: one year later, still use it daily, works great no issues.
