Meguiar's DBP6 6 inch DA Backing Plate for a Dual Action Polisher

This is the original manufacture backing plate for the Maguire's MT320.

If you use Meguires cutting a polishing products it makes sense to use the accessories for the excellent polishing tool they sell.

Originally part which fits the M320 perfectly.

I have MT320 - Meguiar's Dual Action Polisher therefore it is an original accessory for my polisher and couldn't go wrong with it.I bought it as I needed a smaller contact patch compared to my standard 5" backing plate 3" works wonders.Velcro on these is phenomenal, I have used a 5" inch backing plate for Meguiar's for quite some time now and it still looks like new.I had to rate it a 4 star as the sticker on the backing plate is peeling off - and it is an important one as it shows you how fast the pad is rotating.

This is a quality backimg plate, the hook and loop is very very strong your pad will not come off this easerly. Does what it says on the tin (or rarther a plastic bag thats what mine arrived in lol) 5* given

Bought this as my car has many odd angles and small areas of panels which the 5 inch pads cannot get in to I was sceptical of the price but it is well worth it I have had no problems when using it on the machine and it actually works better with this size then the original supplied backing plate. I use it with much cheaper 3 inch pads hexlogic copies which are also excellent with the machine and megs ultimate polish don’t let the price put you off this works with the MT32O perfectly!.

Decided to buy a 5" backing plate as the 6" provided with my DA felt too big for the applications i would use for.Paticularly like the white lines on the back of the plate which indicate whether you are applying too much pressure.As always with Meguiars, good piece of kit.

Well made, durable and didn’t detach from Velcro type backing. More expensive than unbranded option but you get what you pay for.

Was disappointed with my $200. polisher because the foam pads wouldn’t stick any longer till I found these backing plates. Easy cheap fix. 👍

It did what it’s intended for! No complaints!

I use it to buff out my vehicles and polish them.
