Excellent for small jobs
Really good for sharpening knives and small DIY jobs.It has 6 speeds and is reversible. (I on the switch moves the belt towards you and II away from you). The belts are really easy to change by squeezing the top 2 spring-loaded drive wheels together, so no tools required. The motor seems powerful enough and does not struggle under load.I haven't used the polisher wheel yet, but it looks decent quality so I'm sure it will be fine.Overall, I'm very pleased with this sander/polisher/grinder and it will get a lot of use.

This is most definitely not for serious DIY.
The sander is extremely small, it is only good for modeling type work. It is not for heavy DIY.NOTE THE PICTURE'S.

Great value
Great value for money. If you want to sharpen swords etc using the free hand method it’s great.

A poor quality product imported from China that breaks UK and EU law and electrical standards
Yet another poor quality product imported from China that breaks UK and EU law and electrical standards…namely “The Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994”.To clarify let me explain that I purchased this item in good faith as a little gift for my wife, who loves all forms of crafting. Luckily I was present when she opened the box and heard her mention how small the 13amp plug was. I instantly inspected that plug could see straight away that the plug was a substandard cheap moulded plug that has no provision for a fuse of any kind, which therefore means it is illegal, as it does not meet UK BS1362 Safety Standards (see photo). Without a fuse there is a potential risk of fire caused by a short circuit, electrical overload or faulty components within. I’ve actually read articles that have clearly stated that these plugs can easily fall apart whilst being unplugged from wall sockets so potentially extremely dangerous the that regard alone.Additionally I noticed the power cord flex is suspiciously thin to be able to contain 3-cores, I therefore checked the continuity of each pin conductor with a multimeter and found no continuity between the earth pin on the 13amp plug and it’s equivalent the other end in the IEC C13 socket that plugs into the PSU. As the PSU is labelled as supposedly being “Double Insulated” there is theoretically no requirement for it to be earthed, but the mains lead cable should therefore be 2-core and of a suitable gauge, and the connector into the PSU should ideally be either a Polar or Non-polar IEC C7 and C8 variety, whichever is necessary based on the PSU circuit design. The fact that the mains lead is illegal and potentially dangerous casts serious doubts about the safety of all other aspects of this device, including the power supply (that is built into a rather cheap and flimsy plastic case), but also the wiring and construction of the tool itself. Even the orange casing of the motor is constructed of very cheap thin plastic, and is very vulnerable (see photo). On the saw itself the connections behind the direction control switch are open (see photo). Normally this wouldn’t be an issue with 24v DC, but based on the example of the mains lead being illegal and against electrical regulations, it’s therefore reasonable to assume that the design of the PSU circuitry is also questionable, possibly without adequate separation on the PCB between 240v input and the 12-24v output, therefore with no fuse to protect the device, this could potentially be lethal.Note: The PSU does have a clear CE mark, but due to the nature of the power cord this fact is therefore dubious and would need further investigating.Other safety issues include the edges of all the aluminium components that make up the frame of the device being poorly finished, with sharp edges and therefore have a potential to cut skin (see photo).Another issue is that in the photo of the product on Amazon it clearly shows what looks like a reasonable quality buffing wheel, yet the one supplied is cheap and nasty by comparison (see photos)I will be contacting Amazon regarding this product and will also be reporting it to Trading Standards, especially if my review is not published.

Does the job
Does the job fine and mine came with spare sanding belts. Drive goes both ways. Beware though, it is REALLY noisy!

Rubbish .
I bought this as a replacement polishing wheel for my bench sander and withing 15 seconds of use this wheel had sent bits of fabric literally everywhere! It's so badly made it's just unusable. Do not buy 😒
