What's the difference between the matte varnish and the matte fluid?

I cant tell you difference per se, but I can tell you that the fluid has the consistency of tomato ketchup, mixes well with water, and will dry with a slight shine to it

Can this be used on model kits (e.g Tamaya tank models etc...)?

hi i have never used it on plastic kits before ,i am an artist so only use it over acrylics , but saying that i do know that someone used it over wood and it came out very well and also used it on pebble art .So i would try on a little spare bit to see how it looks , at least twice with an hour or so between and must be over acrylic paints and even , do it under good light and after tilt it so you can see that you have brushed it over even if you see lines then brush very lightly and even out . then i do not see why not good luck love to know how it goes .

Can this be used on glass surfaces?

Interesting question, so I tried it. Yes, it will stick to glass and form a clear skin. You'll need to make sure the glass is free from grease and dust. How resilient it will be over a period of time is another question. It scrapes off quite easily if you need to remove it.

Can this matte medium be used to transfer an image onto fabric?

Yes if the print ink comes off. Very variable but newspaper worked a little
