Q: If the side panels are screwed to the wall, how easy is to open the all thing to take the bins out on collection days?Thanks.

Hi Aurie, Don't waste your money. This is an expensive flimsy screen of poor quality and is not made to screw to anything. It is free standing and is easily knocked or blown over. The willow becomes brittle and breaks up after 2 or 3 years. David

Q: Can i buy a middle section only to add to a previously bought screen? we now have 3 wheelie bins!! help!

I don't think so but I bought another one they are cheap enough.

Q: Are the front two panels hinged ?

Yes they are hinged with a hook and eye close fastening to hold together at the front . I wasn't disappointed with this item at all and I'm still using it 3 yrs on and still as good hope this helps ?

Q: Can these be used as a Freestanding privacy fence ?

Mine are freestanding around the front and sides of my 3 bins. They do tend occasionally to blow over if there are really strong winds but that's no problem. They are brilliant for hiding the unsightly bins and blend in well in the garden. If you want them for privacy, I would suggest that you anchor the 2 ends somehow, then they'd be perfect.
