A nice set of cable ties at a reasonable price.
I do lakewater testing at 1 meter intervals using a probe attached to a 100 foot cable, so needed a way to mark off the cable for each 10-meter section so that I would always know what depth I am reading at. The multi-colored ties were the perfect solution. I used a different color for each meter marking, and clipped the tails off 8 of each ten, but left the tails on the 5-meter and 10-meter markings, then repeated the colors and tails for each successive 10-meter section. Worked out great!

Working Good with Chick Identification
Alopuxi 4 Inch 1000pcs Colored Zip Ties with many colors and tiny size are working great on chicks for identification purposes. Putting them on is a two-person task. This year, we ordered a lot more breeds of chicks at the same time that we needed to comingle for brooding, and needed to be able to identify them quickly for potential customers as the chicks got older. We needed something that the chicks would not ingest, get hurt with and would not need to purchase a lot of different sized bands while they grew. After wrapping the tie around the chick's leg (shank) we were careful not to over tighten, leaving the band/tie loose enough that it would not cut into the chick's growing shanks but not so loose as to slip off their ankle/toes (over the foot). The excess band was easy to trim off, close to the ties' fastener, with a toe-nail clipper so that there were no sharp edges sticking out. Ease of clipping/removing was important to us, since chicks can be wiggly. To remove, we used small sharp scissors carefully slipped between the shank and the tie, to clip the tie while the ties were still relatively loose on the shank. Routinely attached new ties of the same color to allow for growth until the birds were old enough to sell. Double checked for any damage to their shanks and ankles, and there was none.*Just make certain to check that the ties are still loose on the chicks' legs daily and that there is still some room to clip them off to replace as needed for quick growth.

If they are worth it or not depends on your use
The telephone line that had a ton of different colors I used to use to mark fittings, hoses, wires etc is now very hard to come by. So I decided these would be a good option, and they are. I would use these for marking only not for actually securing something.

Pretty good
For them being kinda thin they are very strong almost cut my blood circulation trying to break it i recomend

Weak
It breaks easily. I'm not a strong person and I was using it to tie a bag closed and it broke. I have a thousand of them so i'll need to get through all of them before finding a better made zip tie
