This is an item that my mum has been purchasing for years now.You need to use it on a regular basis for the colour to be maintained and it is durable.Has a mid to light brown colour and a bit gingery in bright light, but the black hair ofsets it so it does the job.There are no allergic reactions as there are with other brands which has caused discomfort and swelling in the past.

Brilliant dilvery good product

I highly recommend it. The color is beautiful and dark. It covered all white hair with a beautiful, shiny brown color. I mixed it with Arabic henna, and it was a wonderful result. There are no side effects, 100% natural.

I have a very severe allergy to hair dye so i have been using Henna & Indigo for over 15 years to enhance my dark hair and cover my grey. This was the 1st time that i bought this product because the normal brand I use was not available. I coloured my hair with Henna first and i had a lot of orange streaks where it had coloured my grey. I then made up the Indigo as per the instructions on the back of the packet. I had it on my head for 1 hour and when i washed it off there was little to no change in my hair colour. I then tried it again and this time I left the Indigo on for 3 hours (which is 3 times longer than I normally need to have it on) and again there was little change in my hair colour. I was just about to go on holiday and i had to go with bright orange streaks on my head. It was awful. When i got back, I made up more of the powder and applied it for a 3rd time and I left it on for 4 hours again with no change to my hair colour. Unfortunately, i’ve been walking about with Orange Henna coloured hair which I am so self conscious about. I’ve contacted Amazon and I will be returning what is left of the product. I am so disappointed in it. I am very experienced in using Henna & Indigo. I know how to mix it and how to apply it. Sadly, i cannot recommend this product and will be waiting for my usual make to come back in stock then I will be buying a few of them.

The colour wasnt retained, too much work for too little success.

I wish i had tried this powder long time ago. Had amazing result to my henna hair. It makes the red orange colour of henna darker and more chestnut dark brown..i used method 2 where you henna your hair first then apply indigo after washing henna off. Brill!

I have been using this product monthly for over a year , really pleased with the service and the product itself. True to the statement and definitely, I recommend this product.
