Was split between these and sony xm5, glad that I bought these.ProsGreat overall sound quality. Can't expect any less from Sennheiser. Weather you are listening to instrumental or heavy metal or just watching a movie, these headphones can deliver a good listening experience.The bass on this is something I didn't expect to be this good. I felt at this price point the sound might be more refined and deliver a very flat sound signature where you can clearly descern between every frequency. And these headphones do do that. But if you want it to the bass can kicks if you want it to. And it can do it without compromising mids and highs. I have quest vr. When I watch a movie on it with these headphones on and the bass cranked up its like I'm actually in a movie theatre with the bass thumping.Amazing battery life. I rarely find myself having to charge them and charging them doesn't take much time as well thanks to fast charging.It has great app that allows you to customise the sound however you wish.ConsThe fit of the headphones is not very tight. This might be my problem as for someone with a bigger head may find it fine. I have smaller head, so I often find it slipping of my head especially when I am using it laying down. Also the earcups have leass travel. Even thoughh they cover the entire ear well a bigger earcup would have provided better passive noise cancellation.Not a huge fan of touch controls. Because of the fact that it has a huge touch surface there is very good possibility that you might accidentally touch it. You can disable the touch controls from the app, but then you have no way of controlling the media playback. I always prefer physical buttons over touch controls.The on ear detection is fine but not great. You move the headphones a little bit the sensor engages and stops the playback. Again you can disable this from the app. And it might be an issue on my headset. Also I think they should include the sensor on both sides rather than just right or left.Noise cancelling is weaker compared to other headphones at this price point. Although this might not be an issue if something is playing on them.Final verdictWith all the cons mentioned, they can be overlooked thanks to its amazing sound quality. At this price range the are the best headphones you can buy. Unless you prefer noise cancellation then go for sony xm5.

This review is after using it for roughly 4 months.Pros:Best in class audio experience. And I am taking after using/trying Sony's 1000 XM5 and bose quiet comfort ultra. And the battery life is just unbeatable!Cons (Not so much):Noise cancellation could have been better and there better options. Please note noise cancellation is not bad, it's just there are better options available.The auto connect feature is annoying. Even if it's packed it connects after sudden motion. Which can get really annoying.There is no option to turn off ANC...Concern:Not my experience but I have heard that service experience of Sennheiser is a bit pain and a lot of hassle, for warranty claims. So far, I have never required the need for the service, fingers crossed but would love for Sennheiser to work on their after sales warranty claims especially since they have such excellent quality products.Conclusion:It ticks the boxes what matters the most to me, a good battery life and excellent sound quality.

Great product, audiophiles should love this

Product not turning on and not connecting to my phone unless it’s connected to the charger. It’s been only 9 days since I received it. And while using too the controls on the right side don’t work, unless I reset on the app.Trying to get in touch with the sennheisser Customer support… will update. Have 2 years warranty it says.

good headphone better then sony xm5tried both but seinheisser will win anyday just noise cancellation is not up to the mark which i didnt cared as i loved the bass best at the price range of 20k
