Fits perfectly
Super easy install, took me 5 seconds with the included trim tool. Can’t even notice it’s there and not sure why BMW themselves didn’t think of this solution. Wonderful product!

Functional but requires skill to install
For someone like me, who isn't really into the mechanical side of things, the process of removing and installing the upgrade was quite a learning curve. It involved using some vehicle trim removal/prying tools, and if you're familiar with these tools, it's a straightforward task – from taking out the original blanking plate/plug to putting in the new storage compartment. If you are not familiar with them, then that just means more time spent on trying to pick up a new skill.The storage compartment is well-made, but it's essential to be careful with the plastic lifting door. The added storage for coins, mints, and USB drives in what used to be an empty, non-functional space is amazing. It's a cool and unique product that adds both functionality and style.Ultimately, if it proves too difficult for you even after watching all the Youtube videos, perhaps just leave it to the professionals. Either buy your mechanically inclined friends a beer or go to a local automotive shop and ask for help. Or just figure it out, sometimes there's alot of fun in thaat!

Finish and Material similar, but not the same as OEM trim.
This is very close and almost unnoticeable. I think it serves its purpose for the price. Appreciate the plastic trim tools provided.

great product happy with purchase
Removing the original piece was a bit scary especially not knowing if the product was really or not but it does eventually come out and the new part inserts right in place and snapes down. I was very pleased with the results it looks great.
