Not sure I understand the question based upon "red seed for color" but my cockatiel and African Grey parrots love these. If you break it in half as I do for the cockatiel it smells like strawberries. My birds have been eating this for years.

None of my birds would touch them. They just sat there.

They are about the size of a penny. My conures will pick at them but not really eat them. They smell good though.
