I have used high end T3 and Elchim hair dryers for the past 10+ years. After my T3 started to have heat coil / burning smell issues, I was researching the Dyson dryer and came upon this. To be honest at first my thought was “Chinese dyson knockoff” but decided to give it a shot and am glad I did, this thing is excellent! Compact and light but extremely powerful and has low/med/high fan speed plus off/low/med/high heat setting. It is so quiet compared to my last T3 model. It feels rock solid and like it was made with high quality materials. It dries my long, thick wavy hair quickly and the diffuser works quite nicely too. Overall I’m super impressed! It even remembers your last heat and fan speed setting when unplugged and plugged back in the next day so if you have a “usual” setup you don’t have to re-adjust every time you plug it in to use. To me, that’s “luxury”.

I am a Black woman with a Perm, and my hair is below shoulder length.The first thing I liked about this dryer was how light it was. Second, was how quickly it dried my hair. With my old dryer it would take me 40 to 50 minutes to dry my hair, partially because I would have to stop because my old dryer was heavy. With this dryer, it is light, and I was done in about 10 to 20 minutes. I was amazed!!! The other thing I noticed was how soft my hair was. I also liked how the attachments worked. They are magnetic, and did not pop off, another plus. This dryer is very quiet compared to my old dryer.Overall, this is one of the best purchases I've ever made. I love this hair dryer and would recommend this dryer.

I have thick, semi curly, frizzy long hair. It usually is a 45 minute to one hour event to dry it. This dryer did the job in about 30 minutes. The comb attachment does come off pretty easily (as other reviewers have said) and the comb doesn't pull your hair tight enough to get it straight. I used a heat protectant (Biolage) and I wasn't overly pleased with how my hair felt after drying it. It was really dry/crunchy feeling and pretty frizzy which could have been the product. I didn't like the placement of the buttons because I kept accidentally hitting the heat/cool button while drying my hair. But if you just want something to dry your hair quicker, this does the job.

Couldn’t resist writing a review. 🤩I have natural, shoulder length 4C hair with like 10% 4B mixed in. I have been looking for a blow dryer with an attachment that doesn’t annoyingly fall off while drying my hair. I wanted the blow dryer to also have a good amount of heat, but not burn my hair or smoke up my bathroom during use. I considered the Dyson Supersonic with comb attachment. But it was nearly 4 times the price and I saw it had the same wattage as this dryer. So I decided to try this one. I am so glad I did! The comb attachment stayed put! The heat was more than adequate! In fact, I couldn’t even use the highest temperature. The ionic drying left my hair relatively smooth and soft. It feels like moisture is baked in. I also love how lightweight, small and easy to handle, yet powerful this dryer is. I also tried the nozzle attachment running it up and down the length as I stretched my hair, this worked very well also. Very happy with purchase. Highly recommend.

I don’t really rate a product but I’m doing it today because I’m super mad. I read so many reviews before buying it and was excited to try it. unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations at all. First off, the comb attachment kept falling off every time I tried using it, which was incredibly frustrating. I had to keep stopping to reattach it, making the entire process much longer than it should have been. On top of that, the blow dryer didn’t deliver the results I was hoping for. My hair didn’t feel as smooth or styled as it should have, and it didn’t seem to have the power I expected. Overall, I was really disappointed with this product and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It’s just not reliable or effective.

I love tymo. It's super lightweight but very easy to use. It's definitely worth the money. The key to this blow dryer is small sections and go slow as of you're flat ironing your hair. This will make the dry time faster, and your hair will come out super silky after a flat iron.

It dries very well, but the handle is short which makes it easy to press buttons unintentionally while using it. It also has a very high-pitched sound that is sometimes painful when the dryer is near your ears.

This dryer is small but it packs a lot of punch. The pieces attached to the dryer like a strong magnet. You don't have to worry about the attachments coming off . You can have it on low which is blowing out the air and then they have it on low heat and it is quieter than most dryers. I can hear the TV over it. And even at low heat it is still hot. But if you put it on the high wind blowing and high heat it is just as loud. I don't think you would ever need to. The dryer has a lot of power. When I held it up it was blowing everything across the room like a snow blower but it wasn't just the air it also was the Heat. My child was several feet away and the heat can still be felt. This is the second TYMO product that I bought. I am not disappointed.
