this was easy to install and it fits perfectly, this instantly solved my ongoing problems with extrusion and missing layers. Stopped the clicking of a starving extruder. I have a first gen K1 Max and it fits with no issues

note you do not need a locking tab the bowden tube.
Used this on K1 Max to help feed from large (5kg) spools of filament. I wanted the extra 10N of force.

Beware
I opened the box and noticed a gouge in the same spot as the extruder I removed! Unsurprisingly, when I installed this new extruder, it was defective as well. It seems someone put their old extruder back in the box, and I ended up dismantling my entire machine for nothing.
