Let me just start off this review by stating that my only gripe with it is that I cannot raise or lower its height. That aside... it's a highly functional light. There's three light setting levels and all three are dimmable, with a rather generous amount of variability permitted to find a desirable luminosity. There's a timer function that's quite handy and even a remote to control everything with. The neck cranes, if you will, which allows for the user to direct the light at a target with a pretty high degree of precision. Very handy if you're using it as a work light.The main body structure is definitely metal and not plastic, but I was pleasantly surprised to find it is not heavy. The base is of sufficient diameter that you don't have to worry about it tipping over. The neck is secured nicely to the body and, again, made out of metal so not chincey in the slightest. I think it's excellent in terms of overall durability and will last for years to come.It might not turn any heads in terms of its looks but it certainly is functional and I'd definitely buy another one if/when the price is right.

To say I love this product is an understatement. Granted I had my last lamp for over 13 years until it was unusable. I have not seen many lamps with the multiple lighting and brightness options that this lamp has. With multiple modes I can have one lamp in my bedroom/office and use it 100% of the time in any situation. I've already completed 2 conference calls via video using the brightest setting this afternoon (hours after receiving it). I found this setting to be my best (and most flattering) option when I'm working. The dimmer setting was great tonight as I put my little one to bed.This floor lamp has major height too. I'm pretty tall so it's nice to not run into it or have to adjust it multiple times.LAST BUT NOT LEAST ...It comes with a freaking remote. I haven't used it yet just because I forgot I had one. I'm just not use to having the option to not get up and turn off the lights. It will be great when my little get up to use the bathroom. The dimmer setting is hugely welcomed in my house verses the vanity light popping on at 5 am when I still need sleep but my littles need the bathroom. My house isn't huge so this lamp makes a huge difference. I'm sure one of my kids or their dad will think they need it more then I do. Normally, I'm happy to share my things especially with family but not this time. The LED Lamp is too versatile and convenient. It will make my days a little less stressful. Great value for the money it costs. This compact lamp has a flexible head which is very easy to adjust for readability. The control buttons are conveniently placed at eye level on the pole of the lamp. It also comes with remote control.We had some difficulty with unclear directions for putting it together so be aware it might take help from a friend.

It was a lot smaller than I expected. This lamp is bright and I like the light settings. The price was decent. It does wobble on tile floors. The remote works good.

There is an INSIDE SLEEVE that you MUST pull down in the top 1st connect. I ordered 3 lamps in one of the lamps , the inside sleeve was up inside to far and wasn't able go pull down . I constructed a wire coat rack to feed up inside the connect cylinder, pushing it outside the other end and made a small hook with pliers to catch the sleeve to pull down. After that the assembly was easy and great. The other 2 lamps the connects were visible and easy to pull down with fingers. 3 min assembly otherwise. Thin elegant elegant look with nice lighting, the floor base is solid and sturdy. Great in tight small areas....Pleased with functionality and price.

This is a hard review because the lamp works great, looks great BUT the base is not heavy enough, so it is very unstable and falls over with the slightest anything. Simply a larger and/or heavier base would easily be a 5 Star product.

For the price, it's a good lamp and I like it. I've been using it every day since it arrived with no issues. Don't expect it to be as bright as an overhead light, but I don't think most lamps are in the first place. It's too bright to look at, so I always have it turned away. The flexible stand is nice and I like having the remote. You can change settings on the actual stand itself, which I also like because I don't have to try to find the remote to turn it on quickly.I subtracted a star for 2 reasons. One, it was annoying to put together. Had I not come back to read the reviews, I would have thought I received a defective one. The instructions aren't great despite being "simple" and I had no idea there was another part of the stand stuck up inside one of the pieces, which took some effort to get out (it was REALLY stuck and I didn't have much that would fit in there). So what could have taken me 2 minutes to put together, took about 20 by the end of it.The buttons on my remote are also backwards. Changing the color is shown as adjusting brightness and brightness shows as changing the color. Its somewhat annoying to think about it every time.Over all, it's fine and I would still buy it again.
