Very nice!
This is a great BIG spacious chair that will provide the utmost of room for even the largest of guys, or for two petite people,or a normal size person with a large lap dog or a child. It is huge! I'm a big guy and I like sitting in a spacious chair. I like being able to recline my chair and to close my eyes while listening to music on a great pair of headphones. Since my wife is usually in the same room I will use my Mark Levinson 5909 the most because they are closed back headphones which seal completely around the ears and she can't hear me in the least while she watches the TV. It works out really well for us.We purchased two recliners at the same time, hers a brown power chair and this one in gray and we had them delivered to our living room, unpack and assembled. Hers was in four pieces plus the electric motor and it assembled in just a few minutes. My chair came in two pieces, back and bottom and came straight thru the door easy-peazy and was also set up in minutes. The delivery guys were friendly and quite professional, they removed all of the packaging for us and we could not be any happier. We both love our new chairs which came at a great price. They really are beautiful.

It's a biggun, a seat and a half.
I got past being disgruntled over a late shipment. Amazon's staff pitched in and it only took three days more. Delivery was great and the chair was dropped in the livingroom. My wife and I had little trouble unpacking and assembling this jumbo chair. There are four pieces, base, back, and two side wings. Everything dropped into obvious placement slots. I didn't see instructions until after the fact, but there was a pdf page that gave a cursory explanation. Regardless, it was a snap. This recliner is a roomy 36" inside the armrests. The cover material feels like soft suede and seems durable. Cushions are firm but very comfortable. The seat is a little shallow for me (21") and at 6'4" my feet hang a good foot over the rest when reclined. The recline mechanism works easily from the side but takes a long reach over the armrest. However, the chair sits too low for me (19") so my feet drag a bit trying to fold the footrest back in. I'm going to try blocking the chair up 3 or 4 inches. This chair seems very solid and the mechanism works smoothly and quietly. I'm a really big guy, 450# and, so far, this sofa chair hasn't balked. We'll see over time. It's only been a couple days, I'm still trying to decide if I can reconcile with the shortness in recline since I need to be able to sleep in it as I'm convalescing.2/15/23 revisitChair remains very solid and comfortable. Did have it raised on 4"x4" rails. The upholstery is still sound and feels like brushed leather. Had to get repairs twice, as two spring retaining bolts sheared off last year and another mechanism bolt sheared a few weeks back. I had trouble getting the chair upright in both situations, but a handy son got me squared away in short order. Still, this chair is better than three other oversized La-Z-Boys, which I kept cobbled together with factory furnished parts, until it stopped being fun.So far, just a few shorn bolts haven't been much of a problem, or all that disappointing, considering how thoroughly comfortable this Comfort King is. Forget factory support though. I had to get bolts from the hardware store.

Buy furniture through a local furniture store, not through here
The chair was completely destroyed by the time I received it. It had a big tear in the back rest and it was broken in multiple places that wouldn't even allow for the foot rest to come up. Also, it was supposed to be delivered to the first room inside the house, but there was 1 guy that delivered it and told me I needed to help him if I wanted it in the house. I tweaked my back helping him carry it in. I should have listened to the other reviews saying they received the chair destroyed. Unfortunately I couldn't tell it was destroyed until I took it out of the plastic then found that the box was destroyed, but by then the delivery guy was already gone. Now I have to wait a week until someone can come pick it up and I have a big useless hunk of junk sitting in my living room taking up space. When I did the return they said to put it in a box, which I don't have since it was destroyed in shipping and I'm not going out and buying a box big enough to fog this massive chair, so the pickup could prove to be interesting.

Perfect for what I wanted
I noticed that all reviews are bunched together for all four products, sorry it's my first day, so to be clear I ordered the manual recliner. It came already assembled, which I thought it would be two pieces. A little hard to squeeze and maneuver through a tight hallway but fit through my front door easily, which measures about 36 inches. It's not like super plush cozy to sit in, which is to be expected and I am sure will change over time, but it is super nice when reclined. It does almost lay flat even when you've positioned it upright close to the wall. Definitely comfortably fits someone who is 5'4" 110lb and another who is 6'4" 230lb. The type of fabric is the kind that if you swipe across it, it will turn a darker/lighter shade (minimal difference) depending what direction and then leave little hand/finger marks. I have many blankets like this and you can just brush it away if its unappealing.Mine came in great condition. No damage, no super chemically smell. Delivery was phenomenal. Called 30 minutes in advanced and was delivered around 9 am. They do enter the home to put it in the entryway but they dipped as soon as they set it down.Be warned if you have curious critters, when reclined, there are flaps that open on the side. The majestic white beast pictured got trapped in that little hide away when we were testing it and sat it back upright. There is no other escape other than to recline the chair again, he could not just crawl out from beneath the recliner. He's fine, no worries. :)I hope I was detailed enough to help someone else out with their decision making! I was really nervous after reading many, many reviews on this chair but I am overall very happy with the purchase.
