I could have purchased the large but the X-Large is very roomy. Went swimming and my hair stayed completely dry.

I have a lot of hair and needed a cap that can contain all of it! This definitely has enough room for my hair, but maybe a bit too much - when I first put it on it slipped over my whole head on accident! That's OK, I put it back where it needed to be but it did seem to hold a lot of air as well as hair and couldn't figure out how to get the air out. Plus the opening that seals the cap to the head was bigger than my other cap, and didn't seem to seal as well. If I were to fix this, I'd make it have maybe half the amount of rubber, and make the opening smaller, like my other caps. I do like the idea, as it's hard for me to get my hair into a regular cap!

I purchased the smaller size. This swim cap fits tight but comfortable over my shoulder length braids. I would recommend absolutely buying this swim cap.

The first day I wore it, I really liked it- it didn't keep my hair totally dry, but it was much better than having a soaked head with lots of hair. So the second time I went to use it, it tore. I didn't even do anything to it, I just put it on normally and it just ripped like a cheap plastic bag. I was the only one who touched it and used it carefully each time, this was a bummer.
