We had a ring before Renovations. Loved the ability to see who’s at door. My husband didn’t want to put up another. Vendors coming and going and random ppl knocking on door I said I WANT and need another video doorbell. We had just installed the rep security cameras and he asked the installer how their doorbell was.He said great and, it is. I got the 180 view as we walk right into the house and there are no stairs just a step up.Can speak to them, i have motion detection on always. The pics are very clear. I’m glad we went with them.

It's a very straightforward process to connect it to your Reolink doorbell camera. It's loud as hell and even has some fun features such as different chimes. (I really wish they'd give us the ability to create our own custom sounds, though. That'd be a GOOD TIME in our house! LOL)All-in-all... It REALLY gets your attention and having multiples of them in the house means you WILL hear it wherever you're at.Great job, Reolink.

I needed a second chime for my front doorbell. This was super simple to setup in the Reolink app and works just as good as the chime that came with my camera. Needed this for my bedroom. I work the night shift and sleep during the day. No more missing important guests because I didn’t hear the other chime.

It is great to be able to have the doorbell ring wherever I place this Reolink "chime only." Parts of our house make it hard to hear the regular doorbell, but now I can hear it in more distant rooms.

I have 3 of these total. 2 I purchased separately and one that came with my POE Doorbell. These are easy to set up. Plug it in, hold the settings button until it makes a noise, and sync it in the app under Doorbell > Chime > +All 3 are plugged in throughout my house and they all ring when the doorbell is pressed.If you have the V1 doorbell, you can only use 1 chime. If you have the newer version, it supports up to 5. I may end up buying 2 more.

Glad they sold a standalone chime to add to another floor

The chime connects fine with the Reolink Doorbell as long as it is stand alone. To actually take full advantage of the Reolink Doorbell, you have to use the Reolink Home Hub Pro. Once the doorbell connects to the Home Hub Pro, the Chime breaks, and you cannot add it anywhere in their software - desktop app or mobile app.Support guided me to factory reset the doorbell to try to add the chime. This process allowed me to connect the chime, which functioned until I unplugged it to move it to another outlet. This is not a proximity issue, this is a Reolink product issue. The screenshots in the documentation even show a discrepancy where you cannot add the Chime from the Home Hub Pro.Support has been really helpful, which I appreciated.It looks like this may have since been resolved in the product.
