In my honest opinion the material and the item feels like very good quality I don't give it a full five stars due to just slight imperfections that hinder the function sometimes1. The blades are slightly off-centered so it doesn't really cut all the way on smaller wires(If it is a user error please help me how to address the problem )2. I ordered for a brand new device but it seems they sent me a refurbished version of it so in hindsight I was kind of bummed about that3. The fact that I may have to take the whole thing apart and add a washer or two to make it more dead center of the cut is annoyingBut besides all of that it is a very good and functional machine I like that top and bottom rotates so the wires pretty much self-fed

My husband loves this. It's so much easier to peel the wire apart. He says next time he wants a bigger one for bigger wires but that there is absolutely nothing wrong with this one!

The thing I don't like about single feed strippers of that the valley that the wire/cable sits into is mainly made for bigger cable, not anything around 1/8" or less. Which means that this stripper, with multiple feeds, should be able to handle 1/8", maybe even 3/32". Nope. 1/8" cable, like what you get when you year apart the two halves of a typical power cord, still has issues. One, it twists the cable, rolling it inside the valley, giving you inconsistent splitting. Any setting that gets you a good split will absolutely cut up your stranded copper. I have found with another, smaller stripper that doesn't need to happen. You can have a smooth split even without cutting the copper. Again, this stripper is made for larger cable, not the kind you get from taking apart extension cords and vacuums. Also, they don't give you a crank, you need a drill. The screws they provide for mounting are low grade, of course. You will round out the heads unless you drill pilot holes. All in all, it's ok, but it will not be my main stripper.
