I usually go for very minimalistic cases that don't cover the buttons, but I thought I'd give this one a try. I've had this case for a week. This case is very thin and lightweight, and offers more drop protection than my previous case. The power and volume buttons are very clicky and didn't lose any of their natural feel. The MagSafe is very strong as a phone holder and for charging!The real innovation is the PinBitton technology. You can assign the buttons to perform any task that you can assign to an NFC tag, which is just about anything you can think of. I configured the buttons to launch Amazon, unlock my front door, and turn off all the lights in my house! Amazing! You need to hold the button down for about 1 second to activate, which is great because it prevents accidental clicks (which I was initially worried about, but have not been any issue even once!)Great case even without the PinButtons, but a spectacular case with the added functionality of the amazing NFC PinButtons!!Thus is my new favorite case, and I haven't considered switching since the day I put it on, a week ago!

Pitaka has been creating very luxurious products with a combination of their unique MagEz technology and carbon cases. Nowadays, many other brands offer carbon cases, but it wouldn’t be wrong to say that Pitaka was the pioneer. Recently, I purchased Samsung's S24 Ultra, and as expected, I immediately bought a Pitaka case, which I have been very satisfied with. Then, I heard about the launch of the new PinButton Case, and being very curious about the product, I purchased it without hesitation.When I first encountered this PinButton Case, I was incredibly impressed by Pitaka's innovation. I praised Pitaka's unique idea when I first experienced their MagEz magnetic feature, but the PinButton Case is particularly special because it offers wireless charging functionality using magnets for Galaxy devices, similar to Apple’s MagSafe, and it also provides the functionality of the action button, first introduced in the iPhone 15 series.Here are my thoughts after using this case for seven days:Prosa. The quality of this case is outstanding. There is no need to doubt the quality of Pitaka cases. Having used their cases since the first iPhone series, I can confidently say that their quality surpasses any other brand’s cases.b. The grip is excellent. Even though the case has become slightly thicker due to the added PinButton feature, the grip wasn’t uncomfortable, possibly thanks to the TPU on the side.c. This case is very convenient to use. The Apple Wallet function, which works by double-clicking the power button on Apple devices, isn’t available on Galaxy devices. Instead, you have to swipe up from the bottom to use Samsung Pay, which I found inconvenient. Assigning a function to the PinButton and using it has been incredibly convenient.d. It’s lightweight. The official weight of this product is 34g, but I didn’t notice any difference in weight after attaching the case.e. It’s sturdy. This product uses 1500D carbon. The Aramid Fiber material makes it very durable. It provides full protection, so there’s no worry about damage if the phone is dropped.f. It’s fun. I installed an app that plays a specific sound on the PinButton. When I’m bored, I press the button to hear the sound, and it becomes like a fidget toy.Consa. Currently, there’s only one plain color available. It would be nice if more colors were released in the future.b. The retail price is set at $69, but considering the idea and quality of this product, it’s not expensive at all.Overall OpinionAs expected, Pitaka never disappoints. I’ve never been let down by a Pitaka product, and I’m very satisfied with this PinButton Case as well. Despite the PinButton feature, the product isn’t bulky, and it offers a great grip. The PinButton operates quickly, and the click feeling of the button is so good that I press it habitually. Overall, after using this product, I would highly recommend it to my acquaintances.

I was a UAG case guy for my phones but was trying to find something slimmer for my S24 Ultra since the phone is big enough as is. While I did love the Monarch case it made the phone feel a lot bulkier so I was always in the hunt for something different. The original Pitaka case was nice, but I wanted to have more protection as the case left a lot of the sides unprotected including the buttons. For someone who wants to keep their phone looking as new as possible the original was a no for me.I happened to randomly see a review for this case and was intrigued, seemed to have the same good quality I was looking for but in a slimmer package. After receiving the case I was pleasantly impressed as it seemed pretty much what I was looking for.Pros:* Slim - the case doesn't add much bulk to the phone but feels plenty protective. This also makes the case lighter being an additional plus.* Magsafe Compatibility - The magnet is plenty strong and I like the fact that there is no visible ring as I think it makes the case look tacky. Since the case is so thin there is not any issues with the wireless charging.* Individual Camera Cutouts - while it does hide the color of your phone, it creates additional safety for the camera lenses while keeping dust from building up between them. The cutouts also leave room for the individual lens protectors, at least mine, as well as being high enough to protect from drops/scratches.* Front Drop Protection - While not much it does have lips on the top and bottom that will protect the phone from a flat drop. Also if you use a screen protector the lips will still go higher (barely) without there being any fitment issues.While the case may be nice I don't think there is an absolutely perfect case out there, at least one that I could find, but this one is pretty close. I'm not going to subtract any stars as it is just me being nitpicky, but I'll list what I consider being cons.Cons:* S Pen Cutout. While you can get to the S Pen out the cutout is pretty small, so those of you with meaty fingers beware.* Fingerprint Oil Magnet - while not the worst out there this case does show the oil from your hands so be prepared to wipe it off every 1-2 days if you want to keep it clean looking. It's better than most, maybe I'm just expecting too much from a $70 case. Oddly enough ite does seem to show up more on the back than on the sidesAnother of note feature the case has are the 3 NFC buttons on the left side that are programmable, I'm pretty neutral of this feature as I can see the benefits, but I think I would prefer to leave that side clean. However, if you are more of a power user you can make the buttons do almost anything using Modes and Routines. Overall would be cool if there were a version without for $10 less or so.In conclusion this is a great case with pretty much all the bells and whistles while not adding a lot of bulk to the phone, so I would definitely recommend and buy for my next phone if available!
