Q: for those who bought the 12 car case: did you try to screw into studs or are the screws + anchors enough to hold the case + cars on drywall?

So, if you can screw into the studs that is best. But at least get one side on the studs would be second best. If you cannot get the studs, all 4 screws with dry-wall anchors are still good enough.

Q: I’m debating between ordering 2 6 car cabinets, versus 1 12 car cabinet. Only concerned about the added weight, if it’ll be strong enough to hold it?

I have two of the 12 car cabinets with two additional cars on top of each cabinet because I had a few that wouldn’t fit (H1 Hummer is too tall). No issues with them holding the weight of 14 cars each.

it is flat. But the door still opens from the bottom. steven

Q: Does the door swing open and and does the door have a lock? I noticed in some pictures I see have locks in the door.

the door opens from the bottom, not from side. That keeps the weight more evenly distributed on the door hinges. If the door open from the side it would put a lot of weight on the bottom hinges and more likely to break over time.
