Cheap and necessary for outdoor installs
Installed on all my exterior AP’s and cameras, not only for peace of mind, but makes a handy coupling box so The AP’s can be relocated with a smaller run of cable at a later date

Works first time as set up by the sellers techies
Provided point to point network over 1Km.A little flimsy and how it will remain watertight only time Will tell.

My first (and definitely last) Ubiquiti purchase - avoid this product!
A couple of years ago we experienced a tremendous thunderstorm during which there was a huge lightning discharge almost directly overhead. The resulting pulse fried my main Netgear switch.I recently purchased an outdoor WiFi access point which I intend to power via P.O.E. and having learned what lightning can do to electrical equipment I decided to fit a surge suppressor.Based upon brand reputation I opted for a Ubiquiti product. It will definitely be my first and last Ubiquiti purchase!1) the instructions warn not to use during an electrical storm!2) both RJ45 sockets are labelled “In/Out”3) the instructions make reference to a “supplied power cable” yet none was supplied4) no instruction how to ensure a good ground pathI am currently deciding whether to return it for refund or simply write it off as a bad purchase! My recommendation based upon my experience - avoid this product!

I guess it works
I have it connected from my switch to my Mesh, which is outside, it is there to protect my whole system in case something happens to the Mesh, I hope it works!
