Excellent fun for adults too!
My husband and I pre-ordered this for ourselves :) No we don't have kids, but we figured we'd give this a try because we love Disney and video games, and with all the buzz about the first one, we went ahead and ordered this one. This is a review from an adult who had not played the first one yet, so I will not be comparing improvements.First off for those of you with a Wii U (I don't know about the other consoles) but you can get Infinity 1.0 for free on the nintendo e-shop. Also the base works with 1.0 charecters and play sets, so if you are thinking of getting 1.0 or 2.0 then just get this one because you can essentially have both.Anyways, I will start off with the toy box:This I have to say is a little confusing. I was really looking forward to 'endless possibilities' but my biggest complaint is the toy box memory. If you have a lot of buildings or blocks, then it will get to the point were you can't build or place anything else. They don't really explain this to you either. I had to look online and found out that the smaller the blocks are, then the more memory it takes up. So, it's better to build with large terrain blocks rather than small building blocks. This goes along with my second biggest complaint, is that they don't really explain very much at all to you. Theres an introduction that tells you the very basic, but after than your left to figure out all these different buttons and menus to yourself. I had to do alot of reading online to realize everything you can do with the toybox.Another tip: don't try to build everything you want in one toybox. For example if you want a fairytale land, then make a 'Fairytale Land' toy box. Open a new toy box save for a pirates themed toy box. Don't put cinderella's castle in with the pirates stuff or else you will run out of memory.BUT, those are my only complaints. You can literally build almost anything your imagination can think of as long as you keep putting seperate ideas in seperate toy boxes. It is very fun. Once you read up on it and build a couple trial toy boxes, you really start to get the hang of it. You can make epcot land, or disneyland, the posibilities are endless. Just remember to make seperate toy box saves for each 'theme'! I could go on, but you get the point :)Playsets: Extremely fun! I am very surprised at how big these playset worlds are! It takes forever to load, granted, but in the avengers world it is huge! I play as Thor and it takes me quite a few minutes to fly around the loaded game play area. There is also so much to explore. I almost like flying around and exploring more than the story line. I won't say to many things and spoil it, but take your time exploring and interacting with the cars and people on the map. It can get pretty entertaing :)The actually missions are pretty interesting. Granted, there is some grinding, but I have yet to find a video game that doesn't have that. The story line has variety though, and you meet alot of different people. It's not extremly easy either. The character upgrades are also a very nice touch and you can change alot.Well I don't want to keep rambling on or spoil too much, but I feel that sums up a very basic look at what Infinity is about. I would highly recomend this for just about anyone who enjoys Disney characters and video games. Very fun and lots to explore and learn about the full potential of this game. I won't be bored with it anytime soon!

Loads of fun
This is awesome. My kids and I love all 3 characters. The play set included is a lot of fun too. Some of the Disney infinity characters (mostly v 1) barely have any moves; which isn't the case here. Lots of awesome looking moves, plus Thor and Iron Man can fly.

Awesome Game
This game is amazing! It has endless possibilities and so many characters to collect. SOOOO many options of different worlds to play in. My 6 year old absolutely loves this and so does my 38 year old husband. This is super cool.

GREAT GAME!!!
From my 11 year old son:This game is fun because you get to be a lot of different characters and you get to solve a lot of missions. It's not that hard to learn how to play it, once you figure it out it is pretty easy to have fun with other people. My little brother who is six has learned how to play it already. My friends who come over who don't have a Wii U have picked up how to play a little bit, too. It's just a fun game to play as a family. My dad likes to play sometimes, and he doesn't play very many video games. Iron Man is my favorite character to play so far, but we only have these three characters for now.

Toy Box...Create your world...kids love it!
This Disney infinity series is awesome. I have 2 girls an almost 6 and an 8 year old. I thought they wouldn't be interested in this game but after we discovered the Toy box and how to create stuff, things changed. First of all both girls are Minecraft addicts and create all kinds of amazing things on Minecraft. The first night we went to Toy Box on the Disney Infinity, they were excited to see you could create your own world but oh boy, it was challenging and not intuitive at all. ...no instructions whatsoever, they kept putting things in the wrong place. So we gave up and went to bed. I came back from work the next day and they somehow figured out the tricks and had created this amazing city. You gotta give it to kids, I was really pleasantly surprised. In their words "we loooove this game"...they have just scratched the surface with this game, still so much to explore. I took One star off for Disney not doing a better job with the instructions or a manual guide. But it's a great game for at least 6yrs and above who can read or be prepared to spend some time to help them discover the intricacies of the game...

He liked the first one and loves the familiarity of the ...
My son has the 1.0 infinity game and still wants 2 and 3 so we decided to get him this for Christmas. There are plenty of used characters for 2.0 on the market at gamestop and buy sale trade sites around town. He liked the first one and loves the familiarity of the characters. He is 7 years old. My 13 year old son doesn't care for them as thinks they are too "kiddy" even the more recent 3.0 Star Wars characters. So I would say this is best for 13 and under but as an adult I do not get bored watching and playing with him.

Disk error! Grrrrrr
I'm very frustrated with this product. Our first purchase stopped working within a week. We got a disk error message. We shipped the system back for a refund and ordered a second system. Within a week the second system started having disk errors. It only works every other time we want to use it. All of our other games that use disks work fine. We are using the WII U system bought new in February. Disney and Nintendo were pretty useless and very, very difficult to get ahold of. Amazon was great! They refunded us no problem. They also took care of all shipping costs for returning the old system and ordering the new one. Thanks Amazon!
