Casio makes Great Watches
At first the wrist strap was extremely tight around my large wrists. However after the months of use and breaking in the strap it seems to be more comfortable. It's a great watch Bluetooth tough solar. Nice back light to read time. Minute hand moves exactly on the second. Display obviously is dark. If you want the digital to be more legible don't get the negative display. Overall it's a great time piece, Casio knows how to make watches. I've noticed the Battery level go from High to medium and it show the battery level in the Casio app with the Bluetooth and it even has a phone finder feature which is nice but I don't usually use the app everyday just when I need to update the device. It's a g-shock they are great time pieces. Definitely worth it and I recommend their Multi Band 6 watches if you live close to one. I got the 5610 U also and have been enjoying that one also, charge them at full at the same time and that one has not moved from high battery level.

GShock quality + Solar! Never needs a new battery
The media could not be loaded. My favorite watch. Love the sleek black on black with grey accents and negative digital display. Love the solar aspect, I'll never need to change battery, so long as wear the watch somewhat regularly, or put it near a window a couple days every few months.Been a watch lover since I was a kid, but never really wore them for many reasons. Don't know why I ever overlooked the casioak style GA/GA-B 2100 models. Love them, and they're great quality.

Seems legit so far
Bought this from seller ‘Puckish Deals’, shipped by Amazon. Item arrived 3 days earlier than initial estimate.Watch connects to Casio’s mobile app and I am able to perform all known functions from the watch/ app. Watch came in a cardboard box rather than a tin (googled and seems like that’s how it’s being sold in Japan). Manual and tag that came with the watch shows the right module number (5689) and have Japanese characters. So far, seems like the watch is indeed legit. YMMV of course.

Once you GShock you can’t stop?!
I’m late to the watch game and this will be my 5th watch overall and 1st GShock. I’ve seen GShocks before in stores but I didn’t really pay attention to them that much, big mistake, I’ve been missing out! After researching GShocks I really appreciate how rugged they are and how long lasting they can be. So I went ahead and ordered this all black Casioak with Bluetooth and Solar charging. I think I would’ve been ok with just a regular Casioak but having Solar and a few features via Bluetooth for a few bucks more is ok for me too. I don’t follow trends and hype much, I read these were very popular when they first came out, they’re still popular now. These just look very attractive to me so that’s why I chose it.Although I like its form factor, functionality could have been better. It really can be hard to read at first glance. I’ve been rocking an Amazfit Bip Smartwatch for years, for work for hiking, everything is so easy to read right away. So this being my first Casioak and going back to analog may take some time to get use to. My ideal watch would be a Casioak form factor with touchscreen and fitness health tracking, but this is just a dream for now.I have Garmin Instinct in mind and I also like the DW-H5600 and GDB-200 options too. I really just learned about these watches recently and that’s because of me researching Casios. If only Apple Watches had official GShock watch faces, I would get my first Apple Watch ha.Anyway I plan to wear this Casioak daily when going out and getting the kids from school but may stick to my Amazfit as a beater work watch. I actually also got a screen protector for this because I want it to last longer than long! But those other cheaper GShocks are nice too and can be my beater work watch. So many choices.

Nice watch, but indeed dark
Looks sharp, but not as practical as one with different color hands etc. Dark grey in daylight, black at night. You can read it for sure, but at night, good luck getting to any of the functions, even with the light activated. My seller also imported it from the UAE, and not Japan. Not exactly sure what that means in regards to where it was made, but it is authentic and was recognized by Casio application.
