Very impressed. I like this OBD 2 read much better than other ones I have owned. The app makes it much easier to use. It also provides a lot more information than traditional OBD 2 readers. You can leave this one hooked up and it will provided information like you speed, acceleration time, braking time and distance. It explains what all the warning lights on your dash mean. This is the total package at a great price. I highly recommend this reader.

Does NOT CLEAR/ ERASE code! Check engine light came on in my car, bought this scanner, it gave me the same code I got using a friend’s scanner, so I’ll say it’s accurate! However, after making a repair in my car, I plugged this OBD2 scanner into my car again to erase the code, when I found out that it doesn’t give you the option to!! Reached out got the seller but no help! So I had to go back to my friend’s house to borrow/use his scanner again. So it does half a job! However, in the product name/ description it said it does, which is not true.

The media could not be loaded. I have a SyncUP DRIVE from T-Mobile and I use it as a wifi hotspot. I had a check engine light turn on, and the SyncUP Drive didn't give me enough information as to what the issue was. I saw this was a low cost option for getting some more in-depth info for my car, and I thought I'd give it a shot. Worked great right out of the box, connected quickly, gave me a ton of information (see video), and I was able to get the info I needed to figure out what was wrong (turns out it was a faulty spark plug). Would highly recommend to anyone, I'll keep this in my glove box for next time an error pops up.

I bought this to give my sister so we can try to help trouble shoot car trouble from afar. She live about five hours from us so we can’t just swing by to help her out.This has proven to be really easy to use, and super accurate. Downloaded the app, plug in the scanner, and walk through the steps. Easy peasy.My husband and enjoyed messing with this for a while before we saw my sister to pass it off. You can track different things on the car while driving it.

This is an inexpensive code reader for most cars.It's a little different from others, besides price, it's that it powers on when you plug it in to the cars interface and it starts broadcasting thru Wifi.So you have to connect your phone or tablet to the Wifi signal. You download the units program and set it up to the correct model. Then you start you car and get live data.I admit, that's what I wanted it to do. But it was fairly confusing for me. Of course I'm not an auto mechanic and it would be easy to say well what did I think would happen.. True, but I thought it would give me a clear picture of what was going on with the functions of my car.After all, it's priced for people like me who are not versed in mechanical lingo or engine status statistics.People who are use code readers that cost hundreds of dollars or more.It does read and report codes and you need to choose your car from it's database, so it knows what the codes relate to.The problem that seemed to hinder my effort and it's 5 star rating here, is it kept losing the Wifi connection. That's hard and dangerous to monitor and drive at the same time.It did report some things, but they didn't seem related to the problems and ultimately they were not the problem or indicating something that was a result of a problem. Not even close.So, I'm disappointed in this reader and in myself, for thinking that it would be so understandable that I could deal with it, even if I had someone else do the work. You know - knowledge is power!In the end, it meant nothing. It found some errors, but missed the ones it should have found and that the shop repaired.
