You can order on their website for a new pot. It's just probably the nonstick is chipping off. When washing dishes, please try to stay clear of any hard or sharp objects on the pot.

Q: Does the rice stick to become a goo ball if you eat it after a few hours of cooking?

Not, if after it is done, leave it uncovered (or half way).

Q: Why is the 5200 model only 860 watts, and this model is 1550 watts ? The 5200 is new model with half the wattage?
