How does this desk fit in the corner of a room?

not flush with any wall and there would be a huge dead space behind as the center straight section is around 2 foot long.. works best as set up in picture with the back against a wall

Why is this allowed on Amazon, since the product displayed and advertised isn't what is sent? There are no drawers.

There are two drawers that sit under the left side of the desk. They are made of cloth not wood. You don't have to use them but there is a space for them if you choose to.
