Seems to be a great spice, love the fresh smell and taste of this brand.

When some group did a study of what spice companies had heavy metals in their spices Frontier, McCormick, some of Sams clubs, and Simply Organic ( made by the Frontier co) all passed with flying colors as being free of them. I just buy those. As far as taste, though, Frontiers pizza spice is just the best. We got a one lb. mylar bag of it and even though we don't eat pizza very often we always use a lot of this spice when we do. It's good stuff, and a whole lot of people with a whole lot of different tastes around here agree.

I usually buy all my herbs from Pioneer co-op. And they’re great, the bag I bought had quite a bit in it so I’m going to have to share but otherwise the flavor was great. Well worth the money.

High quality, taste great, used for Italian beef!

This comes in a foil packet, which is fine, but just be prepared to use your own shaker for it... Also, it's pretty coarse, so grinding/crushing it up a bit helps... I've been using it to make pizzas, and it does a good job of adding some "pop" to the flavor of those, but, if you don't like fennel, I would not buy this... It's a little strong in the fennel flavor, and it's not bad, but just know that you should expect to taste the fennel... And if you love fennel, this is ~the one~ for you..Value-wise, you get a big bag, so you're definitely getting your money's worth here...I'll be trying it the next time I make spaghetti sauce as well...It's a good mix of flavors, but just know there's a fennel taste to it as well..

Fantastic for tomato sauces, sausage seasoning, soup stock, and yes, pizza. It's available in grocery stores, but typically in pricey small jars that don't go very far. Would you ever use a whole pound? Maybe not, but fill your old seasoning bottles with it and give them to friends -- they'll love it!

Great flavor and can be used in many Italian recipes so it’s not just for pizza!

This is a wonderful combination of herbs and spices. I use it to make salad dressings, to spice baked salmon, in soups, over pasta, etc. All of Frontier's herbs and spices are excellent, and I was very sad when, for a while, some were unavailable - but available again now, thankfully. I would give this an extra star if I could!
