Cable
Got it for my car because it’s braided and braided is traditionally longer lasting than only plastic wrapped. That being said I bought an Amazon Basic lighting cable that wasn’t braided which I still have and use it for my iPad. Amazon does a really great job with these cables.

I love the Amazon basics charging cables. We purchase them for all of our vehicles and different phones. They’re very durable. The length is perfect for my car. The cable is thick and braided so it will not break easily.

Perfect for Andoid Auto
I use this cable specifically for Android Auto in my car. I have found basic USB 2.0 cables to be more reliable for this purpose than many fancier cables supporting USB 3.0 or Quick Charging etc. Quality seems good, it's not too thick but fairly stiff out of the box.
