For confirming ovulation and whether you have enough progesterone for implantation
I wanted to try this PdG test since I already track LH and BBT to time ovulation. It was a little confusing at first—unlike other strips, one dye line means a positive here. Their Premom app is simple to use, and I already love using it to keep track of other cycle measurements. It can scan various test strips using your phone’s camera and read the results for you. That said, unfortunately, it didn’t work correctly for me when I added my PdG test strips. Even with a clear positive (i.e., a strong pink control line with no test line), the app didn’t automatically read it as a "positive," and I had to enter it myself.Note: This test returns a positive result if your PdG level is greater than 5µg/mL. A positive result not only confirms that you've ovulated, it means you have enough progesterone to support implantation. However, unlike blood tests, it doesn’t tell you whether your levels are strong or weak. This is the same as how the Proov PdG tests work, but Easy@Home currently instructs to stop testing once you get a positive, while Proov recommends continuing for three more days. Proov's reasoning is based on research showing higher implantation success rates when progesterone stays high for multiple days. I'm not sure why the Easy@Home instructions are different—maybe it’s a legal thing—but you're free to keep testing if you have extra strips.Overall, given the costs, I probably won’t use this long-term since my BBT chart tells me a lot already. Nevertheless, it’s a nice option for extra confirmation, especially if you're unsure about your temperature readings or want more data during your cycle.

A Game-Changer For Those Trying To Conceive!
These Easy@Home PdG test strips have been an absolute game changer for my son and his wife as they are trying to conceive. They’ve been tracking ovulation with LH strips for a while, but adding PdG testing gave so much more confidence that she was actually ovulating and that her body was producing enough progesterone during the luteal phase. It’s super easy to use, and pairing it with the Premom app makes tracking seamless. Getting that confirmation with PdG has helped reduce their stress and feel more in control of their TTC journey. Highly recommend to anyone looking for deeper ovulation insight—so worth it!

easy way to track ovulation
I've been using the Easy@Home PdG Test Strips as a way to monitor my ovulation—not because I'm trying to conceive, but to better understand my cycle as I get closer to perimenopause. These strips have been really helpful in giving me insight into whether or not I'm actually ovulating each month. The process is simple and not intimidating at all. I like that the Premom app syncs easily with the test results and provides a clear visual timeline of my hormone patterns. It's given me some peace of mind and more control over understanding my body during this transition phase. If you're looking to track your ovulation for personal health reasons and not necessarily fertility, this is a great, affordable tool to add to your routine.

False positives?
I took one of these before ovulation to get a baseline, but it still showed up as only one line- meaning a positive result. PdG should be low before ovulation so I am not sure about the reliability of these tests. I took a second test the next day and there was a very faint line- so I guess any tiny line counts as negative, but it seems like it should be much more strongly negative when I am still like 6-8 days away from the peak…I am not sure if these tests actually work and are thus showing that I may have some issue with high progesterone or if they are not very reliable.

Love the easy@home brand and this new product. It's a must have when trying to determine if ovulation occurred in your cycle. Easy to read and clear results! I'd definitely pair this with their LH/HCG strips when TTC!

A Good Option to Confirm Ovulation
I'm new to progesterone strips and have used two kinds this cycle to confirm ovulation. These work a little differently than ovulation test strips. For those you're testing during your fertile window and looking for the test line to get darker to indicate you're ovulating. With these strips, you want to test about a week after ovulation and for a few days to confirm that ovulation occurred. The really weird thing about these is that no test line is positive, different from any other type of test. They're as easy to use as other strip tests and got the same results as the other brand of tests I used to check progesterone. It was helpful to know that I did actually ovulate since during my TTC journey I've often had trouble pinpointing it, this cycle for example I never not a positive ovulation test, just one in the high range followed by quickly lightening lines.
