Unfortunately, we cannot offer a money back guarantee on this issue. We do have a feature as part of design that heat-sets the yarns to lock in the threads. It actually melts the yarns at the ends to prevent unraveling. However, if a child has his mind set to de-thread them, there is probably not much that will stop them. If you're unsure on whether these will work for your child, I would recommend purchasing a single pair of socks first and try them. If they work for your child, then you can order a pack with a larger quantitiy.

Q: I am an adult woman size 8, would I be able to wear a child xlarge?

Yes. The larger sizes will fit most adult sizes.

Q: What is the lengh in inched of the size medium and large?

The length on the medium is 7" with a +/-1 inch variance. The length on the large is 8.5" with a +/-1 inch variance.

Q: What size socks should I get for a 5-year-old boy?

There is a size chart that is really helpful.
