Unfortunately, my cat didn't take a liking to Almo. The tins have a good amount of broth, and so my cat would lick the broth and leave the chicken or other until it was his last resort for nourishment.This hasn't happened with other brands, so it was a miss for my feline friend.

The chicken has a strange texture and they have trouble chewing it, but they still like it, they just tend to make a mess with it. Also, this food does not smell disgusting like traditional cat food. It actually looks and smells like human grade tuna and chicken in a can. As with all foods, I have to rotate after a while because, like their humans, they do get tired of eating the same thing all the time.

My cats LOVE this food!!!! Great quality, actually smells like meat and fish.

The thing about this set is that some are tuna. The tuna are nasty, as immediately the house smells right after you open. My cats even seemed offput by the odor. The liked the other flavors but the tuna was a big problem as we couldn't even toss the can in the trash, we had to take it outside to the big trash because the smell was so strong.
