How much does this model weigh?

This model weighs approx. 5-7 lbs. Please understand, I did not place it on a scale. I lift weights from 5 - 15 lbs. This moves rather easily and has great suction & power for its weight.

Is it supposed to come with the accessory holder?

mine did not come with an accessory holder

Is there a place on the vacuum to hold the extra attachment pieces?

there is suppose to be but mine was missing it. the company never responded Amazon didn't either.

Does anyone have the problem of the suction being so powerful it takes up the fibers in the carpet?

I don't see this as a problem as much as the purpose. It does not pull the fibers OUT of the carpet, unless you have a seriously worn out carpet, but lifts the pile while it is pulling out the dirt, which it does very well.
