Is the millet + canary seed hulled along with the hulled sunflower and shelled peanuts?

It has been a while since I have purchased this product. But I don't remember any hulls on my windowsill, it was extremely clean and the birds just gobbled it up.

what type of feeder does it work with? Are the seeds too small for a feeder made for sunflower seeds (with the shell on)?

If you're looking for small seed/pieces, I would recommend the Audubon Songbird No-mess Patio Blend. It is very finely broken down, some almost to dust!

Could I use this safely for my indoor finches, doves and canaries? Regular food makes a terrible mess.

I'm sure your Doves could handle it. Your indoor finches probably not and I know nothing about Canaries. I only feed wild birds and they are messy too but it's outside, thank goodness : )

What type of squirrel proof feeder can used this food?

I have a squirrel Buster model 1055. Make sure the railing or whatever you attach it to is more than 18 inches. I recently replaced the pole to 36 in. The squirrel was using his hind legs to reach the seed. Now he cannot reach the feeder.
