Far Better Than the Movie
ISBN: 9781784752224. I received the book in good condition, the cover feels sturdy with a nice finish. The pages are of good quality, and the font size is just right—comfortable enough for long reading sessions without any strain. The book itself is fantastic. The science is so well explained that it feels completely believable, making the story even more immersive. Crichton’s writing is smooth and easy to follow, and the thrill keeps building with every chapter. It’s one of those books that’s hard to put. Absolutely recommended!

What a great and thoroughly researched book
Michael Crichton put so much effort into this book. He went through multiple rewrites and what not. Every page is filled with exciting new information. The dialogue is memorable throughout the book. Ian Malcolm is the best character in the book.

Sci-Fi, Adventure, Full of Suspense
The way story progresses is mind boggling. Not only it talks about the incidents happened in the park, but also the science behind the development of the park. It goes from awe inspiring aspects to utter destruction in a total suspense, that is very thrilling. After all I was big fan of the movie, and the story in movie was minuscule of what is presented in the book. You can draw the complete essence of scientific advancements, the application of genetic engineering, mathematical theories and despite of all that, how a single fault caused the instabilities in the park and lead to destruction.

"When the tyrannosaur roared it was terrifying. A scream from some other world"
I remember the fear of Velociraptors even in broad daylight when I first watched the Jurassic Park as a kid. Even now after many years when I read this miracle by Crichton, I feel the same fear from raptors. It's good for humanity that they are gone 65 million years ago. But still how our world would look like if they were still alive? It is the most fascinating work I have ever read. Not only it's mind blowing fiction but it's so much informative also. Especially the Chaos theory angle in complex systems.I was wondering that I have already seen the movie and it would almost be the same so why bother reading it. No doubt movie was amazing but this book is beyond comparison. There are many pages that I repeated again and again.Jaw dropping tension and characters you actually care about. Fearsome attack from a species that became extinct from the face of the Earth 65 million years ago called.. Dinosaurs. We would be living very different life if they were to exist today.I am very excited even after reading it and searching for documentaries and videos on internet about Dinosaurs. I can't wait to read The Lost World and to know what happens now when there is suspicion that some of the dinosaurs were migrated.
