Amazing pens
I wanted these pens for ages and when I finally got them I was definitely pleased. They work amazing on the paper I use and they are so good for blending. They don't fray easily and overall my favourite brush pens out of all the ones I have so far. It was quite a lot of money for them but I definitely think its was worth saving up, they have really helped me with my calligraphy.

Don’t hesitate
I ummed and ahhed for a really long time on whether to get these. Watching videos of different uses but nothing really on using the markers for journaling or day to day non-professional/ scrap book use. I’m not an artist nor a hand lettering expert but I do love pens. I am so delighted to have got them and working out at £1.54 per pen I think it was definitely reasonable. Tried it on different paper/card that I normally use for my scrap book and journaling and was really surprised. On some paper and notebook paper there was bleeding, but not severe like a sharpie. On the dotted paper I use for journaling and on coloured paper there was only ghosting. I think this is really acceptable considering the amount of liquid that flows out of the pens. On design pads the ink didn’t spread, but on normal everyday cheap printer paper the liquid ink did spread a little so not giving it a ‘clean’ edge look/a bit blotchy up close. Oooo, the other thing that was a bonus was that on the dotted paper I use the blending worked really well. Didn’t tear the paper nor bleed through on all three methods; using blending pen, tip to tip or the pick up method. The only grumble I have was that three pens had ‘floppy’ nibs, they weren’t as sturdy as the others but if I write bigger then it’s ok and I hope to use them for water colouring one day so no biggie really. Overall I’m really happy with the markers and I can see myself using them for day to day stuff and not just special projects.

Colourful Colouring Brush Markers
Great piece of brush markers, colours are very sharpe and clear, the brush is light and easy to control. Great piece of kit worth the money.

Fantastic for modern calligraphy
I own Tombow pens (thinner nibs) and Ecoline pens (chunkier nibs) for modern calligraphy and hand lettering but as soon as I got these Karin pens I fell in LOVE! The nib of the Karin pens is mid way between the Tombow and Ecoline and since getting them I’ve barely used my Tombow set. The range of colours in this is gorgeous and aside from adding some metallics, it’s the perfect set in my opinion.
