My FAVORITE Salt-Substitute ever!! LOVE! ♥
I absolutely love the flavor of this seasoning. I discovered it a few years ago & was using it up too fast, so I slowed it down for awhile, as it can get pricey. I need to be on a low-sodium diet & just have not discovered any seasonings that I really like, except for this one. I keep trying Mrs. Dash & others, but they are just meh! I use them, but I don't love them. So I'm back to buying this all the time.It has a lot of flavor, but it doesn't taste like regular salt. I feel like it's a salt-free seasoning, not so much a salt substitute per se. Remember everyone's taste buds are different. To me, it has a 'LEMONY-SOUR' flavor. I use it on so many things, but my favorite is on things with butter/margarine, such as baked potatoes, cooked vegetables, popcorn, etc. l also love it sprinkled on salt-free potato chips, low-sodium Ritz crackers, just about anything that needs a flavor boost. I've also used it on buttered toast as a simple snack. I've never used it for cooking, only for sprinkling on afterwards.Besides providing the much needed flavor for salt-free foods, I love that it has NO pepper, no garlic, no potassium chloride, no sodium. It's NOT spicy like so many other seasonings. If you're expecting a straight salt flavor, there's a chance you could be disappointed. But if you're open to trying a different kind of flavoring, I'd say to try it... I would use it even if I didn't need to watch my diet.A few cons:- The price. It has gone up quite a bit in the last few years. It's a small bottle & sprinkles out freely, so it goes fast if you use it often. It's expensive.- There are some crunchy, hard pieces dispersed throughout, pieces of dehydrated veggies, I believe, carrots etc. ~I could do without those~ I don't like biting into anything hard. I once read a review where a reviewer said she would grind it up, but I can't be bothered with that.- It can get 'cakey' on the bottom in humid weather. But it never lasts that long in my house.I've been known to bring it to restaurants with me.I recommend it & have done so to many people.5 stars.

Good
This is actually a pretty nice alternative to salt. It takes a little bit to get use to. It has a lemon flavor to it so if you don't like that, you may want to try something else. Surprisingly, I don't like lemon but I've adjusted to this. It works well on almost every meat, although I didn't like it on tilapia as much. It does not do well on vegetables, but it's great on potatoes. It's alot of trial and error with every food you try it on. It does add enough flavor to not miss salt as much.

Well.. it's okay but, not great.
I have a cardiac diet per my doctor. I'm glad I bought the small bottle to try it 1st. I read the reviews where some people love this and some don't. I'm not sure if I like it or not yet. I used it on few salads and steaks. Meh, it's okay at best. Sliced tomatoes have a decent taste with some on it. It doesn't taste or dissolve like salt would. There is a crunchy, fine sand texture if, it doesn't get wet somehow and soften for a minute. Now I tried it on some popcorn that I had fresh popped and was not happy with results. Table Tasty is so dry that it all fell to the bottom of the bowl. When I poured it in my handful and shoved in my mouth I almost choked when the fine powder yeast dust was breathed into my lungs. Then I tasted it finally. It's hard to recommend this to a friend but, maybe worth having in the cabinet if, you need to have a "kind of salty taste" going on. I recommend Smoked or Toasted Sesame seeds sprinkled on top of food for a better 'Salty tongue' trade off. And healthier. I don't know how long-term yeast consumption effects you or what this stuff is really used for but, it sure isn't for everything. Try the flavoured Sesame seed trick. There are several kinds to buy or you can toast in a dry pan yourself. Lastly, I definitely wouldn't order a big bag of Table Tasty until you try the small 2oz bottle 1st.

FINALLY ! A worthy salt substitute.
FINALLY. A worthy salt replacement. I've tried them all and this is the ONLY suitable salt replacement I have found. No, it's not perfect, but it's pretty darn close. It actually tastes like salt but without the bitter or chemical aftertastes of all those other supposed substitutes. That said, there is one drawback. It is definitely an after cooking add on. it doesn't work as an additive while cooking. But, that's not a big issue for me because that's usually when I add my salt fix anyway. Also, there is a slight "tang" at first but it's not unpleasant or bothersome for me. If you are a salt fiend like me, and you have reached the point of no return, look no further, this is the salt sub for you...
