Great, Durable but Heavy Metal Fidget
Silver is definitely the color to choose. When I read others' reviews indicating that the points of contact on the fidget wore away the paint, I bought the silver, thinking it was not painted at all, but instead was the natural silver color of the metal. I appear to be correct. You can see in the picture how there is a smooth area at the point of contact, but since there is no paint, it is not really noticeable. As for the fidget itself, the motion is loose/easy and I am able to use it with one hand. As the parts collide when moving it makes a satisfying, but not noisy metal-on metal "clapping" sound, similar to what I would expect a metal Rubik's(r) cube to make. Note, however, that that sound will irritate anyone with auditory sensitivities (though probably ALL fidgets would do that).I find both the motion and the sound to be addictive.

Office Toy? More Like Pocket-Sized Apocalypse Stick.
I bought this Lifidea Metal Infinity Cube to fidget quietly at my desk. What I didn’t expect was to discover its real purpose: being the most unsuspectingly durable self-defense companion on my person.Dropped it on my foot—nearly lost a toe. Flipped it too hard—dented my coffee mug. Spun it once in frustration—coworker flinched instinctively. This thing is less “relaxing toy” and more “James Bond gadget if Q had anxiety.” It’s weighty, made of metal that could deflect light sarcasm and possibly a low-flying bird. I’m not saying it’s a weapon, but if I’m ever trapped in a conference room with poor air circulation and even worse opinions, I’m reaching for this cube first.Would recommend—for fidgeting, stress relief, and possibly surviving a budget meeting gone feral.

My favorite fidget
Since buying this I've used it so much. It's great. Weighty, durable, great for mindless fidgeting, great for when you need to use your hands to focus. Love the repetitive motion. Size is good, too big for me to use with one hand, but my hands aren't huge, so I don't fault it for that. If I need to use it one-handed I'll just set it down on something. Not the quietest, so be mindful of that. I will say, with frequent/long term use, the color WILL wear off along the corners, as some of the more negative reviews will tell you. It's unavoidable. And I found it happening pretty quickly with the ferocity with which I was using it. But don't let that dissuade you from getting it - It's a really really good cube. My favorite fidget I've ever owned. It not looking 100% new and unused shouldn't be too big a deterrent for how good it is. 99.9% of the color is still there after many months of regular use.

edges are too rounded
this is a nice product, my only (very small) complaints are with its size and the edges:I don't have my old toy (from a different manufacturer) in front of me to compare side-by-side -it's at the office and I won't be back there for a couple weeks- but the old one I believe was slightly larger in its dimensions which I would have liked for this one to be a touch larger as well.the edges are just a little too rounded, making them slightly harder to grip when moving the toy around quickly; and as a result when I'm mindlessly playing with the toy sometimes my finger slips over an edge when I'm trying to instead flip the cube about its hinges.overall though I quite like it. The paint wears quickly which is normal for these types of items especially with constant use, but I like the worn look it gives to it. It shows that the toy is more than just an ornament for your desk. The initial wearing of the paint honestly looks a little strange but after not long it looks good.I certainly appreciate the replaceable screws used for the hinges. I couldn't quite tell from the listing how deep into the internal post/hinge the screws go, but after getting it and removing one to check I can see a little more than half of the screw gets threaded into the hinge when fully inserted which is good.My old cube used the rivets, those started coming apart in a way that the edges of the rivets would sometimes catch on each other which interrupts the smooth flow of flipping the cube around. That won't be an issue with this one.The screws are all tight so I don't suspect them coming out will be an issue but 1) they do include a hex key & spare screws .... and 2) you'll most likely see the screw coming loose and it will have plenty of length to come out before falling out and potentially getting lost, I don't think the extra screws will ever become necessaryfor anyone wondering the screws take a 2.5mm hex key

I wasn't even into fidget things until this.
Bought this for my boyfriend but wanted to make sure it wasn't cheap junk so I ordered it a month before his birthday so I could check it out. I've never been into the "fidget" things, but I liked this one so much I had to buy a second one of these so I could keep one for myself. I take this thing with me most places now. It's weight is significant and it helps gravity fold and unfold this thing. I like the fact that you can tighten the connection points on this and they even supply a little alan key to do so even though it's a standard size. I bought the blue and the plain aluminum. I personally like the blue better. After much fidgeting, the blue anodization is wearing off a little around the edges, but I really don't mind.

A sturdy Infinity cube worth far more than what you pay for it.
I have always enjoyed infinity cubes. They are very relaxing and help me focus when I'm struggling at work. I wanted one that was sturdier and had weight to it because most infinity cubes are plastic and tend to wear out quickly with heavy use. The Lifidea Infinity cube is sturdy, has nice weight to it and still fits my hand well. I was surprised by its quality compared to its cost. It also comes with a tool to replace bolts as needed tighten them up if it becomes to loose, which is even more of a value.I'll be following this brand. They don't have a lot on their store yet, but if they add new items I'll want to check them out.
