Gordon Glass® Truck Cap Locking T-Handle - Clockwise

I used this handle on a Sportsman brand pickup camper shell. The original handle was worn out and sloppy. The new one installed with no issues. Note, my original one was held in place with rivets so I had to drill them out. Then I used the included 10-24 screws to affix the new one into its place.

works and fit perfectly on a used century camper shell I purchased that of course came with no key.Some reviews were confusing, this is how it works.When horizontal it is locked, turn clockwise (right) to the vertical position is unlocked. Less than 5 minutes to install.

Works fine. Had to make holes bigger but that was easySo far so good.

Fits well, keys are made well. Glides pretty smoothly. Decently made for the price

I haven't been able to lock my camper shell hatch because I lost the keys to it years ago. I came across this replacement by accident, and I'm glad I did!! I had to drill out the rivets on the original and then make the holes bigger on the outside of the door to accommodate the new lock screw receptacles (do not drill out the back side -- no need to!). Minor work that anyone can do. The new latch/lock was installed and functional in less than 30 minutes from delivery. I really like the idea that there are no rivets to replace (no tools or parts to purchase) and the screws (provided) come through the inside to the latch and make it secure (can't be easily drilled out). Ohhh... It's not mentioned anywhere, but this 'is' a Bauer lock which is very reputable.

Nothing wrong with this item, it just didn't fit my truck canopy. The screw holes are 1 5/8" or something like that, my back lift door has holes in the glass that are 3 1/2" SO....... not happening. And I can't find anything online to fit it. Guess I will have to customize this handle with a larger plate under it to fit my existing holes in the glass.

Works well for our truck, good replacement.
