BlenderBottle Classic Shaker Bottle Perfect for Protein Shakes and Pre Workout, 28-Ounce, Clear/Black/White

I really love this shaker bottle, even though I just started to use it yesterday.I have been working out for around 20 years. I have used various shaker cups for mixing my workout supplements, from Gatorade bottles to GNC powered mixers. I finally settled down to 2 GNC shaker cups 3-4 years ago, which mix well the supplements and are easy to clean. However, I can't mix one protein powder ( Cellucor Cor-Performance Whey Fast Digesting 100% Whey Protein 26 Servings, Red Velvet, 2 Pound). It's the first time I buy and try this protein powder. No matter how hard I shook my shaker cup, I always see undissolved powder in the drink, which made the drink taste horrible. After I received my BlenderBottle shaker bottle yesterday, I gave it a try with the protein powder. The outcome was fantastic! The shaker cup mixed the protein powder so well that it makes the drink taste very smooth. I wouldn't believe I start to like the protein powder that I hated so much before.I consider this shaker cup to be the best among what I have used. It is well designed and manufactured. I had little concern when I read about questions/answers and learned the bottled are manufactured in China before I placed my order. After the "test run", I really like my new BlenderBottle shaker cup and all my concerns are gone. I ordered another one, which I will be using in my office.

Good quality bottle @ right price. I used this to drink shakeology brand protein and supplement powder. Trick is to first fill this up almost 3/4th with water or milk (not too cold) and then put the powder.Just give 10-12 good shake using and voila, no more chunks of protein powder and no need to use blender/mixer for quick shakes.Bottle quality is pretty solid:1. No leakages at all. I keep filled water bottle in side pocket of my backpack without having to worry about spillages.2. Strong built: I have dropped it a few times (empty as well as filled) but dont see any cracks so far.3. No smells: No funny smell of any kind4. Easy to clean. I just rinse this with warm water most of the times, once in a week I handwash using dish liquid and sponge. I havent tried in dishwasher yet.Overall very satisfied and will recommend this.

This is a fantastic product. I've used Nalgene, Rubbermaid, etc type containers as shakers before and you always end up with unincorporated residue that has to be rinsed out and either stomached as gross paste, or wasted down the drain. The BlenderBottle appears somewhat gimmicky at first, and before I bought it I was highly skeptical. I am very utilitarian and am not into brand names or gimmicks whatsoever, but I am no a BlenderBottle fan-boy, and will definitely buy another one when this one wears out.Beyond mixing product thoroughly, the bottle construction / plastics feels sturdy, I haven't had it leak a bit and it doesn't rely on a rubber gasket that's going to get lost or wear out because I tighten the lid down too far. The snap-top works great and never lets any fluid out. I was nervous at first about leaving this bottle on its side or having the top pop off, but it has a nice seal.

I am new to the world of shaker bottles. I didn't know what on earth I was looking for when it came to one. What makes one better or more useful than another? Is it because this one is clear and another one is eye-seering fuchsia. Is it because the ball inside this shaker is bigger than another? What are the answers to life? The answer is who the heck knows. I picked this one because it was cheap and looked good from the picture. And you know what? I picked correct. This is a great bottle for anyone. The little mesh ball is used to stir up protein powder. Protein powder clumps like you wouldn't believe and using just a spoon to stir it up just doesn't cut it. Get it? A spoon 'cutting' it? I'll see myself out after I post this review. One invaluable lesson if I could leave one with you fellow novice is make sure the cap is sealed. Shaking the cup without the cap sealed will spray protein flavored water all over you, the kitchen, the lights, the cat, the computer, everywhere. Don't believe me? I present Exhibit A: my vanilla scented apartment from me not sealing the stupid cap. My cat still won't talk to me and it's been months.

I really love the Gen 2 bottles. They're a huge improvement over the Gen 1's.The plastics can stain, they do retain smell even after washing, and the rubber lining tends to degrade over time, which is why I give this four stars.The rounded base fixes the issue of powders settling into corners and not mixing, because there aren't any corners to do so. It also makes them so much easier to clean.These things do blow open if you put a carbonated drink mix into them, so be aware of that.The plastic is super thick, the lids are nice, and they take a serious beating. These things are high quality.If you like drinking shakes and mixes, you should really consider getting one! Or seven.

I bought this shake to mixup powdered shakes. It works perfectly for my needs without issue. I recommend this product.
