If you like REAL flight sims this would be a good thing to get. It's just like you are sitting in the cockpit of whatever aircraft you are trying to fly. This is extremely accurate.One thing though, it'll take you about 1-3 hours to install. the Setup program is a bit "stupid" You have to extract the files from a ton of small zip files from dvd to your HD. this takes a lot of time. my machine isnt slow, i have all solid state drives, no "Spinners" and 32gb of ram, and a 650 dollar gaming motherboard.One more thing is the lack of configurable controls, or control remapping. You'll also want a flight yoke and rudder controls with throttle. i have yet to find anything to be able to remap any controls.

I bought this for my son after our Microsoft Flight Simulator X expired. I thought it looked like a bargain. Spend the extra money and get Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. We have tried two different joysticks with this game. There is a page where you can set what button does what function. Even after that, we could rarely get anything to work correctly. This has been the biggest disappointment/frustration that I have seen in a while. Some people complain about installation, it's slow and a pain but not terrible. It is the actual gameplay that is terrible!

Haven't used them yet waiting to get everything set up,I hope they work ok and clear ,and good quality, keeping my fingers crossed on that,as some reviews say there difficult to load up,I have bought a whole new setup, gaming hard driveHP, curved monitor, yoke,My old set up wore out,hard drive was old,so it kinda jumped and skipped a little,so looking forward to getting this all set up, waiting for my guru Nephew to help.

Need to update my computer GPU card but looks pretty cool. You really need a hot rod system for it to work well. But a lot of bang for your buck if you have the right system. Will need to get for later at that price and fix your computer to play. Not for dummies.

Easy to load, hard to maneuver through the simulation. Definitely need to read the manual. If you are using a yoke, you need the rudder pedals too. Keyboard is very difficult. Able to go thru the tutorials. Nice grading system. Like the fact that you have to go thru a checklist. I remember my father doing that when he would take my brother and me up in a Cessna 172 in the late '60s early '70s. Kind of difficult doing the checklist. Definitely need an X570 or higher graphics card. It takes a little while for the (I think it's called a high hat) to operate smoothly for looking around. I have an X550 graphics.

it's an intellectual change to take full advantage of all the built in possibilities.

This set of disc did not work out for me. It would start out on installation disc and at a certain point it would get an error. tried it several times and at that point it would throw an error and would not finish loading. I had to refer to their website with a code that`s included to download the simulator. Thats fine, but you do not get all the scenery and aircraft files thats on the disc set.

Although it is a great product I believe it is a bit too complex for someone like me that is not computer savy. I havent been able to install it. I think i will have yo call for some support because if not then I will to give it away to someone that knows how to work. I have bought much simpler simulators in the past.
