Best eyeliner I've ever had. Not sure why this isn't more popular!
It's perfect. I use my MAC 210 precise eyeliner brush (extra-fine tip) and am able to easily and safely do my tightline. Since it's powder to liquid (because you use water), you can adjust opacity and density of the black and make the smoothest lines — it's like painting, drawing. It's not a harsh line like a typical liquid eyeliner you'd get at the store.I can tightline and do a thin line above my lashes for a "no makeup" look where people have no idea I'm wearing eyeliner, and it looks perfect. Also, fun tip, when I need to reload my brush when it's faded, I'll draw a faint line for the "wings" when I do cat eyes. It's at that dry powder faint where it's not very visible and I can lay it out on both eye and make sure it's even. It's fantastic. I can paint a dang masterpiece on my eyes. Also, mistakes are REALLY easy to clean up, just use a slightly damp q-tip. So easy to fix. Also remarkable is that I dropped this thing, and it all broke and fell out. Then I put the big chunks left of the cakeliner back into the pot and added water to make it all stick together again, and it worked! I didn't lose it. For normal makeup, eyeshadow, whatever, I'd have lost the entire thing. But I saved it! Fantastic. With wear, it sticks well and doesn't fade or migrate or whatever for the most part. I don't use eye primer, so that's par for the course, because the rest of my eye makeup fades at the end of the day.I haven't tried this with the Magic Set Mixing & Lining Liquid to make it completely waterproof and smudgeproof, but am planning on getting some soon enough.Best eyeliner I've ever had 💯💯💯

Switched after 15 years using another company's product to Graftobian!
Love Graftobian Cake liner. I have purchased Clinique for years, and have noticed the last few years that the brown cake powder, exactly the same look at this Graftobian Cake liner, runs out of the colorant half way through. I have three half used/useless ones thinking I would send them to the C company, but should just trash them now that I have found this little marvelous Graftobian product.(Plus the old brand prices have grown horribly as their quality has gone down. I was DELIGHTED to find and use this product Graftobian as it is easy to apply with water, and seems to last the day without chipping or making my eyes feel tired. I am thrilled also that the price is far more reasonable. It is a bit higher than I wish but still loads of a better quality.

Nice quality eyeliner
I wasn't sure if I liked this product at first, but I have been won over. I had been using Clinique cake eyeliner in natural black for ages but it is more like gray and I wanted something darker. I prefer cake eyeliner because I feel I have more control with it. Also, the line of cake eyeliner is not as sharp as with a bottled eyeliner. I am over 60 so a sharp line does not look best on me. I prefer a slightly blurred line and I can get this by stroking several times with a cake eyeliner. It is difficult to draw symmetrical tails on the outside of my eyes because my lids are slightly drooping and each eye is a little different. What is working best for me is to sketch in a pale line with the Clinique eyeliner and then follow up with the Graftobian eyeliner for the final product. It works great! Graftobian is very black and it is easy to work with. I just mix it with water. If I put it on thickly enough, it will last for about 8 hours. After that, it will fade a little, but probably because I have oily skin. If I need it to stay on longer, I will add bottled eyeliner as a third coat. But for everyday use, Graftobian is sufficient. It also comes off easily with makeup remover which is important to me. It's hard to be sure, but it looks like there is a lot of product in the compact so I expect it will last for a while.

Cake Eyeliner is the Best - and it lasts forever
All the really positive reviews seems to be from women of "a certain age" that used cake eyeliner back in the day and are so delighted to find it that they are overwhelmed with happiness. That's me - so this review is for the people who are just trying cake eyeliner for the first time as it is the most wonderful product ever!Color. Some people complain it is too light or too dark. YOU ADD WATER! If you want it light add a lot, if you want it dark add a little. When you first open the package you have to add more water than you normally would to get the correct consistency as it is usually a bit powdery, but after a couple of days you can monitor the water easily. Try using some kind of dropper for the water (you need very little). I keep the water in an old eye drop bottle, so it is easy to just use the one or two drops of water. Some people wet the bush, but that has never worked for me. I put the water onto the cake and make a paste with the dry brush.Brush. This particular liner didn't come with a brush, but I have bought it in the past where it came with little brushes. Throw them away - you need a longer brush as you have to rest your hand on your cheek to get a smooth line. You don't need an expensive brush but you do need a fine brush. One of the reviews suggested a paint brush, which I thought was a good idea, but it was far to hard and scraped my eyelid. An expensive paint brush might work - but why bother. You don't need an expensive brush. The last one I bought I bought at the dollar store (after looking in Sephora and finding the cheapest eyeliner brush which was the right shape was over $20), and it is great. Unfortunately it was the last package and the brushes will not last as long as the eyeliner so if you see a good deal get more than one.Longevity. Cake eyeliner lasts for a long long time (years). It is not surprising the companies that used to make it no longer make it as it lasts and lasts and lasts. In the early 00's I found four Fran Wilson cake eyeliners in a close out store. I was already panicking at that time as you couldn't buy cake eyeliner in the stores. I bought all four and am just finishing the fourth one now 14-15 years later. So spend all the time you need experimenting with the amount of water you need, and how to use it - you will have plenty of eyeliner left.
