Works great with my OG playseat setup!

I bought two. And I hope this review helps those who like playing a more immersive style like me.Being able to switch between 'Right-Hand-Drive' and 'Left-Hand-Drive' depending on the car I drive in games is a MUST for me. Very few people do this, but for those who do, you know how difficult it is to find the right wheel/seat rig that lets you do this easy and on-the-go.I took the risk and bought two, not really knowing if they would work on both sides, but I will confirm, it does 100%. Just mirror the installing instructions and these brackets will bolt into your Playseat perfectly on both sides (See pictures attached).Another concern was that the mounts for the shifter itself are made so you hard-mount the shifter with bolts. however, I have to again confirm that you can use the manual screw to attach or detach the shifter. It takes a little getting used to, but it can be done in less than a minute.I have a Thrustmaster TH8A shifter, which is very big, but it will attach no problem with the manual screw. The mounts have JUST enough space in their highest setting for you to mount it (See attached picture).I am SUPER happy with this product. I can now play the way I want. The position is perfect and swapping the shifter from left to right is incredibly easy. The sturdiness is superb as it is bolted to the seat frame itself.Hope this helps if you're thinking of using a similar LHD/RHD swap setup. Regardless, if you're just looking to mount your shifter, this attachment has you covered!

Quality product

I am always impressed by the quality of Playseat products, however I have a couple of complaints/warnings. This did not come with an Allen key so I had to find my own tool to screw everything together. Second this will not fit a Logitech G29 shifter out of the box. You will need something with a wider base for it to secure properly. Other than that I would recommend.

I bought this along with a Playseat Evolution, Logitech G920, and Shifter for my first sim racing rig. Although the holder was expensive for what it is, it does the job very well and is the most solid piece of my rig. It was very easy to install and mounting the shifter was a breeze. It is very rigid and does not flex at all during shifting. It is also very adjustable and makes it easy to mount the shifter in a comfortable spot. 10/10 would recommend.

This shifter holder honestly cost more than I wanted to spend to mount a shifter to my playseat. However, this thing is SOLID. After mounting this to my playseat evo, the shifter does not move around or wiggle at all. The overbuilt structure of this shifter mount even stiffened up the frame of the playseat itself when attached.

The metal plates and mounts in this kit are incredibly thick and rock-solid. After everything is bolted down you will not get any wobbling on your shifter, and the range of adjustment allowed will get everything positioned in a comfortable and realistic way. Sure this is expensive, but absolutely worth it if sim racing is your thing.I did notice there is some extra room for a handbrake, now to find one of those....
