More creepy tracks than your traditional “namo amitabha” chant.
Pretty device but 22 tracks and none was what we were looking for.If you’re looking for the traditional Buddhist Chants with the simple “namo” mantra sentence- this ain’t it.My family has had some great little devices where the one simple sentence (Vietnamese: Namo a di da phat) chant audio is clear- there no background noise and it’s not creepy. It’s the repetitive mantra that any country can use and understand. This Device is the prettiest looking device but most tracks are not useful and some tracks are downright creepy bc they’re whispering the same on sentence, in creepy way but in different tempos. No offense but if someone had that on repeat- you’d think you’re being haunted by a ghost who’s telling you to “get out, get out, get out”. I can’t explain it. You just have to hear it for yourself.Stay within the first two tracks and you’ll do fine. I’d look for a better version. I don’t need 22 tracks. I just need one that repeats the mantra and this ain’t it.

No charge, I’m not used it, because I don’t like to use too much battery.

Useful to drown out distractions
I don't practice Buddhism and have no idea what the mantras mean, but putting this thing in the corner and letting it run while I'm trying to work is surprisingly effective at drowning out the sound of people talking on the nearby sidewalk, or neighbors doing stuff, or annoying traffic sounds from the arterial road a block away. I put this at about 1/3 volume and on the opposite side of the room and it just repeats.. works better than white noise. I don't think I could sleep with it running but it's awesome for working.
