Very good book with lots of great information

MGH Psychiatry Update and Board Review made a colossal error in reducing the number of practice questions from 400 to 200 in the fourth edition.Answering questions is the single most correlated study technique to improved performance on board exams. This book has become nothing more than a reading book, which offers very little critical thinking and practice.They suckered me into purchasing the book, given being updated to DSM V. However, their previous version for DSM IV had 400 questions, which albeit stingy, was acceptable. Having only 200 questions for the current version makes this text virtually worthless.Consider returning to DSM IV study guides, including MGH Update and Board Preparation 3rd edition (which has 400 questions) and Kaplan & Sadock's Study Guide and Self-Examination Review in Psychiatry (which has a helpful 1600 questions) or purchasing DSM V review Psychiatry Genius instead (online program which has 600 questions).MGH bombed this one. I may return the book.
