These are the upscale AC Delco filters for corvette and other 6.2 liter engines
About as good as K&N and WIX filters for quality and filtration. For most 6.2 liter engines. These are made with much better innards and the filter media is topmost. You cold go beyond 5,000 miles if needed, but why risk it? These are so affordable, you can do 5K oil changes with top grade oil and expect 1/4 million mile reliability out of your LS engine.

Great Product
Because I do my own oil changes , I prefer the OEM filters & fluids. This is not to say the aftermarket brands do not work. It is a personal preference to believe this filter meets the specs of the engineers. I will continue using this brand of filter.

A Durable Oil Filter
I use this filter on my 2008 Chevy Silverado 2500 with the 6.0L gas engine. This truck gets used a lot; empty, loaded, pulling a 10k pound trailer, plowing snow, extended city and highway driving. This is a very sturdy, heavy filter that appears to do an excellent job of keeping the oil clean. And the best part is you can buy it for less money than lesser quality filters. For those that care, I also us Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic 5W30 oil. (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M6YFM58/?coliid=IMM1FP49J2YST&colid=K4Q1XMLWV1ZA&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it) I change the oil every 4-5k miles.Just keep in mind, oil and filters are cheap insurance to maintaining any vehicle.
